Chapter 5
DAHYUN let out a hearty chuckle after signing the contract given to her by Taehyung."This one's ours, while the other one's yours. If you try to break any of the things included in this contract, you'll surely be taken to jail or atleast pay and settle the case in court," Taehyung said while putting the contract inside an envelope.
Dahyun nodded confidently while keeping a sweet smile on her lips. "Ne. You can trust me, seonsaengnim, I won't break this contract," she answered excitedly. Taehyung slightly beamed at her and nodded.
"Hey, I'm just curious. Why are you so happy?" Jimin intefered, making Dahyun smiled at him widely.
'What is with this girl?' Jimin thought when he was suddenly struck by Dahyun's smiling face.
"Who wouldn't be? If you don't have a job, and the opportunity with high salary was the first one to come near you...Tell me, aren't you going to be happy, too?" she asked back and stood up, excitedly. She was about to take a step, when Jimin spoke again.
"Where do you think you're going?" Jimin asked her with creased forehead.
"Hmm, to my official room? ㅋㅋㅋ!" she replied and chuckled happily.
"Mwo? Taehyung's not done talking to you!" Jimin exclaimed. Dahyun abruptly turn her head back at Taehyung and acted cutely.
"Is there anything else that we're going to talk about, seonsaengnim?" she asked at the latter and tried to act cuter in front of him. Jimin smirked and let out a disgusted sigh at her weirdness.
"Nothing. You can now head back to your official room," Taehyung answered when he finally escaped from the girl's silly charm, using the same term she used to refer to their guest room. Dahyun chuckled excitedly and stuck her tongue out at Jimin.
"Good night, I'll just prepare my things for my tutee for tomorrow, seonsaengnim," she said and smiled at Taehyung sweetly. Dahyun then faced Jimin when Taehyung had already nodded at her. "Good night to you, too, harabeoji (Grandpa)," she said to Jimin and walked towards her room, panicking cutely.
"Aish, that girl. She's better when she's sleeping," Jimin commented as he watch Dahyun entered Taehyung's house's guest room.
"Just let her, Park Jimin," Taehyung stated and walked towards their house's kitchen area.
"Ya," Jimin called for Taehyung's attention.
"Hmm?" he hummed.
"What was the real reason why you hired her to be Chung-hee's tutor? I'm sure it's not because she's an education student, right?" Jimin began asking him, and watched him get a bottled water from the fridge.
"Believe it or not, that was the real reason why I hired her," Taehyung responded and drank.
"You can't fool me, Kim Taehyung."
Taehyung blankly put the bottle on the kitchen table and stared at nothingness. "Do you remember Jungkook?" he began.
"Your...?" Jimin intentionally hung his words.
"Ne," Taehyung answered and let out a bitter chuckle. He already knew what Jimin means so he abruptly agreed to him. "She's his girl," he added.
"M--mwo?" Jimin asked, urging his friend to tell him more.
"He went abroad and finally went back, to fulfill his promise to that girl," Taehyung explained and his blank eyes was immediately filled with lividity and his grip on the bottle tightened when he suddenly remembered what happened between him and Jungkook in the past.
