"I hate skirts," I complained as I grabbed the end of the pencil skirt that was starting to hike up my thighs and pull it down. We were in, yet again, another elevator. After the events of the past few days I realized how many elevators there were in the city.

The director allowed us to head home for a short amount of time, getting us to change into more professional clothing than what we had slapped on in the early hours of the morning.

Now we stood in the elevator, in the building of some business man, going up to speak to him.

"I don't know what you mean, I love skirts," Ren responded, a tone in his voice that told me I didn't even want to consider looking into his mind to see what he was thinking.

Not soon enough the doors opened, revealing a hallway and a clean cut rectangular prism out of the wall. A desk stretched across the entire opening, and a woman had a Bluetooth speaker in her ear as she typed away at a computer. At the sound of the elevator arriving, she brought her gaze up to us, a smile on her face.

"Hello, welcome to Abel Enterprise, can I help you with something?"

"We're here to speak to your boss about some things," I answered her, smiling politely and folding my hands in front of me. A small frown donned her face as she looked back at her computer screen.

"I'm sorry, but my boss hasn't been seen in the building since a few days ago. You'll have to try again when he is back," she dismissed us, going back to her work. I unfolded my hands, my smile dropping.

"Oh, well, thank you for your help," I responded, turning on my heels to head back to the elevator, Ren followed me, stopping me halfway there, and pulling my down another hallway.

"What are you doing?" I hissed quietly, quickly grabbing for my heels, so she couldn't hear me walking anywhere that wasn't the elevator. Lorenzo hooked a finger over his shoulder, and I peered over it to see a wooden door at the end of the hallway.

"While you were trying to talk to the secretary I peeked down here. That's the guy's office right there."

"Okay?" I started off, crossing my arms in front of my chest as my heels dangled by my fingers. "So what if the guy's office is down there? He's not here, so there's no point."

"Maybe we'll find out something interesting," Ren whispered, wiggling his eyebrows as he trotted off down the hall. I sighed heavily, shaking my head in disbelief as I followed after him. We got close to the door. Ren stuck his hand out to turn the knob, only to find out it didn't turn.

"It's locked," I stated dully, going to turn around to leave.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious," he muttered, sticking his hand into his pocket and pulling out a bobby pin and a paper clip.

"Where did you get a bobby pin?" I murmured, turning back around and squatting down to his level. "Are you... breaking in?"

"I have sex. Ladies leave things," he answered me shortly, causing me to clamp my lips shut. Lorenzo made quick work of the lock, a soft click sounding as the door unlocked. He turned the knob, it moved this time, and we slipped in.

"I can't believe you broke us in to a person's office," I said, not know whether or not I should be impressed or worried.

"You don't get to pin this break-in on me." I stared at his back with a look that showed I was done with his shit. I gently set my heels on the floor next to door before padding after him.

"But you were the one who broke in!" I argued back, watching as he started to rifle through the drawers of the desk. I sighed, heading to the opposite side of the desk to go through those. Nothing interesting was found. Mostly just hidden snacks, a drawer filled with gizmos and gadgets, nothing spectacular.

"Oh, here's something," Ren announced, looking into the drawer.

"What is it?" I asked curiously, closing the drawer quietly.

"It's a receipt from a place called... Seamen?"

"I've never heard of it," I mused. "Let me take a picture of it, so I can send it to HQ for further processing." I sidestepped the chair in between the two of us and readied my interface, taking a quick picture of the receipt before sending it off to whoever was connected to the other side of the number.

"We need to get going before someone notices we're in here." I nudged Lorenzo to move, closing the drawer at the same time. I quickly crept back to my shoes, picking them up. Ren followed quietly behind me, twisting the door open again and stepping silently out. I followed behind him, shutting the door. Together we tip toed back down the hall and into the elevator. It was there that I slipped my shoes back on.

Before the elevator doors even opened, by interface opened with a new call. I pressed accept, the transmitter going to the Bluetooth in my ear.

"Hello?"

"Agent Mullen, we are reporting back about the receipt you sent us." The voice was a young sounding woman with a slight accent that I couldn't quite place. I hummed, the door opening into the lobby.

"Yes, What is there to say?" Ren and I strolled our way to the front doors, trying to seem unsuspecting that we just broke into a corporate office.

"Records show that Abel has frequented this place for the past few months. It's a guy bar. Are you wishing for us to send you the location to the bar?"

"Yes, please, Lorenzo and I will check it out and see what we can find," I spoke. I expected more, but the call was hung up abruptly. I blinked a few times in surprise before powering down my interface and turning towards Lorenzo.

"They sent the location of the bar. Evidently it's a guy... bar? I don't know why she specified it was a guy bar." Ren shrugged his shoulders as we left the building.

"Maybe she was just saying that since a lot of guys go there you need to dress up nicely to get their attention?" I shrugged my shoulders back at him, thinking over if I had such an outfit to wear for the occasion.
