A meeting here.

A studio session there.

It was our time off, but Camila had seemed to only get busier and busier by the day.

I was worried about her, truly.

She hasn't been getting much sleep because she's up all night writing, claiming "I gotta get this down," afraid she'd forget, sometimes not being able to shut down her thoughts long enough to drift off anyway.

She hasn't been eating much either. She'd wake up after 4 or 5 hours of rest, grab a banana and rush out the door, throwing a quick goodbye to Apollo and I.

I admired her for being such a hard worker, but this wasn't healthy anymore, and I missed my girlfriend, Apollo missed his Cuban Mami.

"Wait," I grabbed Camila sleepily as she made a move to leave our bed. "I'm going with you today." I stated matter of factly, attempting to rub the sleep from my eyes.

"No, baby, you know you can't come." She spoke softly, caressing my face as she subtly laid me back into my pillow.

"Yes I can come," I sat up again, widening my eyes as if it'd wake me up faster. "And I am." I threw the blankets off of my body and walked over to my dresser.

"Y/n,"

I pulled out some yoga pants and slipped them on, seeing as I slept in my underwear, it wasn't a problem.

"I'll get in trouble if I bring you,"

I walked over to Camila's dresser and took out a black cropped hoodie that said 'Love Only,' with a little rose at the end, out and put it on.

"Especially you."

"Why?" I huffed in annoyance, finally acknowledging my girlfriends pleas.

"I don't wanna talk about it okay? You just gotta understand that this is my work." She tilted her head from the center of our bed, still in her underwear, looking adorable as ever.

"I'm coming, matter of fact; I'm driving, and you can't stop me." She squinted her eyes at me, as if thinking over the possible situations in her head, then smirked and began to get dressed.

"Fine." She said with a smile.

"Fine." I said stubbornly and excited our room, going to the kitchen to feed Apollo.

As I finished setting a fresh bowl of water on the floor for the puppy, a phone began to ring from upstairs.

"It's Alycia!" Camila shouted from our room.

I slipped on the wood and nearly cracked my head open as I cut out into a full sprint up the stairs, taking them two at a time.

I barely caught the phone as I slid into the room on my socks, Camila under-handing it to me as I entered.

"Hello?" I asked calmly as if I hadn't just ran through my apartment like it was an American Ninja Warrior course.

"Y/n! What's up, girl? Did I wake you?" Alycia's very awake voice flowed through my phone speakers.

"No no. I've been awake.. for hours." I lied as I took a deep breath, glancing over at the clock to see it read 6:32 AM.
