Maya POV :

"But Grandpa said he wants everyone." I repeated once again.

No response

"I am talking to you." I forced Neil to look at me by trying to make him turn towards me but his bulky frame didn't allow me to do so. I sighed in frustration. He kept on doing his work like I never existed in the room.

I sat at bed and started watching all his actions. These days I hardly see him, he avoids me at all cost after that hospital incident.

That day he nopes his wolf Will took me out for a kind of date. He took me first to a park then to a restaurant and finally to forest where he showed me his beautiful wolf. Whole day he acted like we are some couple on a date and being honest I also enjoyed his company but I never let my walls down considering he had taken control over Neil for whole day. If Will can take over Alpha Neil for a whole day without his permission I can only imagine how powerful he actually can be.

By the time we returned home he gave back control to Alpha Neil and him being him he just dropped me without uttering a single word and left.

From that day till now he is in silent mode. He is not talking to anyone, spending most of his time outside home, yesterday Jacob told me that he is not even attending training sessions from last week. Idk what is going through his big alpha head. I get that he is upset with Will's actions of what he did to me but for that he can apologize to me, or if that's too much to ask for he can talk to me but no...he decides to ignore me. Jerk.....

I followed him and when he was about to leave the room

"Please try to come in evening. Atleast for Erica."

He stopped. Great ! Erica is such a bait these days for everyone.

"I will try."

His words brought a smile to my face.

"Wait..."

He again stopped with his back towards me.

"It was not your fault. We can talk this out you don't have to stress yourself so much."

No response.

And he left.

I sighed and returned to my bed. These days I am not even able to understand myself. I always wanted to give him pain, hurt him so that he can leave me and now when actually something like that is happening I am the one consoling him. Maybe I should follow Maxi advice I should talk to him...about my secrets and fears. I miss Max and Mikhail. They have only been out for a week for some SPW stuff but I miss them miserably...guess I have completely forgiven them now for what they did.

Why this happens !? Why when someone is near to you, you dont value them but when that person goes away you suddenly realize their importance !?

I took another long sigh and saw the books which Grandpa bought for me lying on the sofa. They were all very interesting but a particular book named as 'Marks Making' captured my interest the most. It was because other than its name nothing in that book was written in English. I am only able to find out that it deals with something about history of mates marks and everything seeing the pictures in it but other than that nothing. I so badly wanted to read it. 

I decided that since I had time Why not ask Grandpa to read it for me !? Like a storytime.

I quickly took the book and marched out in the search of Grandpa.

I saw a she wolf cleaning the wall painting in the hallway.
"Hey ! Do you know where is Grandpa ?"

"Oh yes. He is in kitchen." She replied politely. I thanked her and went towards kitchen. I saw him sitting on one of the stool sipping his coffee while Mom was near the counter and Drew was sitting near him making faces to little Erica.
