Chapter 38

Natalie POV

I'm so excited for the game, I've had practice almost every day and I'm getting a little better but I know I'm definitely never going to be the best on the team but who cares at least I'm on the team.

I put on my uniform and put my hair up in a high pony tail. I'm ready.

I walk downstairs to the living room where my mother and father and brother are siting in.

"You look adorable" mom gushes

I do a little twirl, happy that I got her approval

"So did you pay someone to get on the team?" My brother Adrian Says

"Adrian!" My mother glares at him

"I'm just saying" he mutters

"I might not have rhythm or flexibility at all but I have team spirit!" I tell him "bye mom bye dad" I smile at them and grab my keys and leave

I walk over to the other cheerleaders that are gathered together "hey guys" I wave

They look at me and turn their backs

"All righty" I mutter

I see Rose, Ben, Amy, josh, and Sara walking up the bleachers. I wave at them and they wave back, Rose gives me a thumbs up.

"So girls are you all ready?" Heather asks us we all nod "okay let's get in our places" she says

I see Holden walking over to the field I give him a wave and he smiles and waves back.

I walk over to my spot and I look up at Rose who gives me a smile of encouragement.

"Ready?" She says "okay"

We all start doing our routine and I notice that everyone is blocking me but maybe they aren't doing it on purpose and it's almost like we are doing two different routines, as we are almost done I start moving to my next spot when someone puts their leg out tripping me, I fall to the ground and I hear everyone gasp.

"Oops" Britney says I see her smirk

"Yeah you should watch where you walking" heather laughs

I see everyone phone go off and then I can see everyone start laughing a little and staring at me.

"Okay time to stop embarrassing yourself and get off the field" heather says

I get up and try my best not to cry but I can feel tears coming down my cheek.

"O you can keep the uniform it will be a good reminder for you" she says and turn her back

It all happened so fast but i see Rose coming down the bleachers stairs like a women on a mission and comes over towards us and walks right up to heather and pushes her knocking her to the ground.

"You should watch where you stand bitch" Rose spats and grabs my hand "come on Natalie" she says and drags me off the track

As soon as we get to the parking lot she turns to me and hugs me knowing I needed it, I start bawling my eyes out from embarrassment.

"Nat your better than all of them and one day they are all going to work for you" Rose tells me

"Yeah" I nod

"Let's go"
