"Holy shit, were you two..." Amy lets the sentence trail off while eyeing the both of us suspiciously. She doesn't seem too phased by the fact that Harry Styles is adjusting himself on my bed.

"What? No, Amy!" I lie.

"Are you sure about that? Because that's kind of what it looks like." She gives me an eyebrow raising stare which seems to say that she's judging me.

"No." I lie again, but attempt to be more convincing with the one word.

"If you say so," She says in a sing song voice, then adds "Do you want me to leave?"

I look at Harry to gage whether or not I should ask her to leave. He's now sitting up on the edge of my bed, and gives me a look that says he's got this one.

"The tour bus is outside, maybe your roommate would like to meet the other boys?"

What?

"What?" Amy asks the question my mind already did.

"We came straight from Miami." Harry says while shrugging.

His casual tone and cool demeanour completely contrast the fact that it sounds as if he rushed straight from the last tour date to come see me. How is it possible that he doesn't want something serious but can't seem to last a couple months without rushing over?

"Do you mean to say that the rest of One Direction are sitting in a parking lot at my university?" Amy questions him.

"Exactly." Harry responds, with the same casual shrug.

"Lily, thank fuck I got you as a roommate, seriously. I'm going to say hi to the rest of One Direction, you two have fun!" She rushes out of the room quicker than I can manage to process the whole situation.

I guess any teenage girl is up for a little bit of those boys. I don't blame her, that's for sure.

"Are 5SOS with you too?" I don't know why I ask but the mention of Amy having tickets seemed to have left them fresh in my mind.

"No they went back to Australia, but they're touring around themselves pretty soon I think. Why?" Harry eyes me.

"No reason." I attempt a smile.

The truth is, I want to ask Harry about his not wanting to get serious. I'm naturally an honest person, I can't help but want him to be too. If I just come out and ask him what I mean to him, maybe I won't have to wonder. Wondering is starting to kill me, especially because Harry has an effect on me that I haven't yet been able to control. I don't want to be his fuck buddy, although I'm not above settling for it.

"You look like you're thinking about something serious." He says to me and I'm caught off guard.

"No I just zoned out. Hey you remember that guy in the club that you punched?" I decide to change the topic.

I notice that for a brief second, Harry's body language changes. He stiffens at the sound of my words and I don't have enough time to understand, before he's switched to the calm demeanour he held before.

"Yeah, what about him?" He looks up at me from his seat on my bed.

I pace a little in the small space between my bed and Amy's bed before answering.

"Well his names is Miles, he goes to school here. I met him on my first night at some party. He gives me the creeps."

"That's strange." Harry says but appears uninterested.

There's a moment of tense silence in the air. Neither Harry nor I want to address what he just admitted before Amy came storming in.

I don't want anything serious. His words replay on a constant loop in my mind as the silence drags on.
