"It's not that big of a deal."
"Big of a deal my ass." I told him stacking games in the aisle they belong on as he trolled behind me. "I mean I can understand a gram, 2 G's, but you want a whole fucking shipment of weed."
Kelsey rolled his eyes and stopped me. "Can you give me the weed or not?" He asked impatiently. I glanced at Marcos who was staring at me. I turned back to Kelsey.
"Why do you need it?" I asked. "If you get caught with it, you'll lose your shit, Kelsey. Your scholarships, you'll face real jail time."
"Why do you care anyways Blaze?" He asked with an attitude.
I rolled my eyes. "Fine. Meet me here tomorrow night after closing." I told him. "I'll get you your weed." With that I continued to stack games. He nodded and left. I watched as he walked out and let out a sigh.
"So you're really about to go to your dealer and ask for five pounds?" Marcos came up to me. I shrugged.
"Yeah why not?" I turned to him. "As long as Kelsey cooperates, then we shouldn't have a problem." I sighed out. Marcos walked around me.
"Mm so you and Kelsey Carter?" I scrunched up my nose and turned to him once more.
"No, defiantly not." I told him. Marcos walked up to me and grabbed me by my waist pulling me closer.
"Good." He whispered in my ear. This game he's playing, I want to entertain it.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Oh yeah? And why's that?" I asked him, playing curious.
"Because." He answered. He looked down at his hands as they slid up and down my body.
"Because what?" I whispered seductively. I bit my bottom lip as he pulled me closer. Thoughts ran through my head wildly. Do I really want Marcos to take me right here, right now, on this floor? My thoughts was interrupted when he stepped back. I frowned. He let me go and walked out of the store. That was weird. I shrugged it off.I opened my house door to see my Father waiting for me to walk in. He had a paper in his hand. "Where were you?" He asked bitterly with disgust splattered on his face.
"I was at work, you know the place I'm always at after school." I rolled my eyes and shut the door.
"Don't sass me Blaze!" He screamed.
"Why are you yelling? Seriously it's too late for that." I told him. I tried to walk past him but he pushed me back. At that point I was irritated. "What?!" I yelled.
"What the hell is this?!" He asked holding up the piece of paper.
"Um some paper." I answered him.
"Is it really now?" He threw the paper at me. "Read it!" He yelled.
I read it to myself. It was a note saying I'm failing economics. I shrugged. "Okay."
"You're failing econ??" He folded his arms across his chest.
"Obviously." I told him.
He walked closer to me with his finger pointed. "How are you failing economics and your parents are fucking politics?!" He asked me with his finger pointed at me.
"Because fuck this economy, its stupid and fucked up!" I shouted back.
"Why are you even alive? I am ashamed to call you my daughter, you are a disgrace to this family." He told me. My throat became scratchy and my voice became cracky. "I'm not sure if you're mine. I mean look at you! You're dumb! You're pathetic! Do you think Grace and Brandon are dumb?! No, they're smart because they're mine."
I looked up at him as he compared me to my younger siblings. "You don't want me anymore?" I asked him my voice still shaky.
"Never did." He spat before walking away, he disappeared into the darkness and left me there in pity. Everything he said to me, every single thing, hurt me.
I drug myself upstairs and threw myself into my bed not even worrying about showering. I cried myself to sleep.Morning arose and I sat at my desk in school staring out the window. I haven't seen Journey all day. I decided to text her and ask where she was. When the final bell rung I walked out of class. I walked around until I spotted Journey hanging with Kelsey. I frowned and walked up to them.
"Uh, hey." I said to Journey, but looking at Kelsey.
"Oh hey Blaze! Sorry I haven't been in class I've been hanging out with Kelsey." She said. I looked over at Kelsey to see him smirking. I slit my eyes at him.
If Kelsey is using Journey for one thing, he got something coming for him. "Okay that's fine I guess. I just wanted to tell you what happened to me last night." I told her.
"Well Journey and I will see you later we got plans after school. Bye." Kelsey told me. I raised an eyebrow. If he want this weed he better shut the hell up. I told myself.
"Just tell me later girly."
"Sure." I told her.
"Stay Blazing." She said before walking away with Kelsey.
What is really going on?Before work, I swung around my house. I walked in to see Estella vacuuming. "Hey Estella." I shouted over the vacuum. She looked over at me and smiled before waving. Estella is a pretty petite Columbian. She's in her late 20's maybe 26 and she's gorgeous. I don't know why she decided to be a maid. She should of been a stripper if you ask me. I'll throw them Ben Franklins at her in the strip club.
She stopped the vacuum and wrapped it up. "Hey Blaze." She said to me with her heavy thick accent. "I haven't seen you in a while." She told me. I shrugged.
"I know I'm sorry, work." I told her. She nodded in understandment before dusting the furniture.
"So how Mr. And Mrs. Simons been treating you?" She asked referring to my parents. I rolled my eyes.
"The same, like a piece of shit." I told her. She gave me an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry baby." She told me sincere. I nodded.
"Thanks Estella. How's your baby?" I asked and her eyes lit up.
"Mariana is great! She's so cute. She looks exactly like her father." She told me. I never seen or met her father and she's shown me pictures of Mariana when she was a small baby. She's the cutest.
"That's great! Well I got to head over to work." I told her before grabbing a blunt out of my bag and lighting it. Estella laughed and nodded. "I'll see you later."
"Stay blazing."
