Chapter 8: wanna join?

||Jake's POV||
*vlogging*
Jake: Good morning Jake Paulers!! I hope you're working hard! I hope you're smiling! I hope you're dabbing on them haters! If you're new here, I'm Jake Paul. This is the team 10 house. And it is lit every single day bruhh!

Madeline walked down the stairs so I pointed the camera at her.

Madeline: good morning guys!

Jake: so, if you didn't watch the past few vlogs, this is Madeline. Her and her friend Paris are staying here for a while so you might start seeing her more. How are you today Madeline?

Madeline: well, thank you for asking, I'm doing great.

Jake: that's great! Wanna help me prank the rest of the house?

Madeline: sure.

I handed Madeline a water gun and I grabbed my own as we went upstairs to wake everyone up. I really like Madeline and Paris, they're really nice and they get along great with everyone here. Nick and I are thinking about inviting them to join team 10, we think they'd make a great addition to our wonderful family!
2 hours later...

Jake: *yelling* Madeline! Paris!

Madeline: coming.

Madeline and Paris walk into the office where Nick and I are seated at the table.

Paris: are we in trouble?

Jake: no, not at all. Sit down, we need to talk.

Madeline: are you sure we aren't in trouble? You're acting like we're in trouble...

Madeline and Paris sat down.

Jake: ok, so, since you guys have been here we've noticed that you really fit in here and seem like you belong with us. Everyone loves you guys and we hope you enjoy being here as much as we love having you. We were wondering if you would be interested in joining Team 10?

Paris: are you serious?

Nick: he's 100% serious.

Madeline: We'd love too!

Jake: ok, great! The only issue is that you have to sign contracts and neither of you are 18...

Madeline: well, my brother is my legal guardian. He might not be the biggest fan of me being out here but I know he will support me. I'll FaceTime him later and talk to him about it.

Paris: my mom was just arrested... my dad is in jail... I.. I don't know who is my "legal" guardian right now...

Jake: don't worry Paris. We're gonna figure it out.

I pulled out my vlog camera figuring I should tell the Jake Paulers what's going on

*vloging*
Jake: hey guys. So right now, Nick and I just asked Madeline and Paris to join Team 10! They both said they'd love too so now we just have to get guardians to sign contracts since they're underage and then we have our newest Team 10 members!

I turned off my vlog camera and we continued the conversation.

Jake: do you guys do YouTube?

Madeline: we share a YouTube channel but we never upload on it because we don't have a good camera... we have 2 videos up right now but they're really cringy...

Paris: yeah... we'd love to get it started but we just can't right now. We don't have a camera nor do we know how to edit and stuff. When we do start YouTube we want to create a new channel and start from scratch.

Jake: great! Let's go get you guys a camera!

Madeline: what?

Jake: come on.

We got in my car and headed to Best Buy. I really want Madeline and Paris to be a part of team 10 so I'm doing all I can to make them feel welcome and wanted. Starting with buying them a vlog camera and another camera for videos in general. Then I took them shopping for clothes and shoes so they could have more trendy items in their wardrobe, keeping their fashion tastes but mixing it with trends.
Next, we went back to the team 10 house where we took out the trampoline and set up two beds for them until we get our new Team 10 house. I had a quick photoshoot with them and posted a picture on my instagram tagging them so people could go follow them. They both gained about 1.2 million followers from that one post. I really hope they decide to stay here. We love having them.

||Madeline||
I think Jake likes Paris and I. He asked us to be part of Team 10 which is amazing. I never thought this would happen. I love everyone here so much! He took us shopping today. He bought us 2 cameras, clothes, shoes, and beds. He set us up a "room" where the trampoline was and he moved the trampoline outside. He said it was the best he could do until they got the new Team 10 house. I really appreciate the effort and I think living here will be fun.

The next morning...
*vlogging*
Madeline: hey guys, it's Madeline and Paris. So Paris and I decided we wanted our first video to be a vlog just so you guys could see what kind of stuff we do throughout the day.

Paris: yea. So we're going to get ready for the day and we will just take you guys with us to do whatever we're doing today.

Jake: yea. So stay tuned.

Jake was obviously mocking us but not in a rude way. We all started laughing and Paris and I started getting ready.

Madeline: have you called Cole?

Paris: no.

Madeline: you might need to do that sometime soon. Let him know you're ok. He's probably worried. I called him last night and he agreed to sign the contract. What are you going to do about that?

Paris: I'll call him later but as for the contract... I have no idea. I'll talk to Jake and we'll see what we can come up with.
