Chapter 14: everything will be fine. I hope...

||Madeline||

*on the phone with Cole*

Madeline: never talk to me again. Ever. You signed a five year contract for me to live here in L.A. with Jake and when those 5 years are over I'll be over 18 and can make my own decisions. You're insane. These amazing people invite you into their house and try to be a friend towards you and you go and beat up a guy that you don't even know and slap my best friend and your ex girlfriend in the face?! I don't know whats wrong with you but I promise you one thing, if you ever try to get in contact with me after this call I will get a restraining order.

Cole: why are you taking their side? Don't forget who your family is. You're taking the side of a hoe and a bunch of little kids with money over your own brother?!?

Madeline: why am I taking their side? what do you mean, Cole?!? I don't think you understand how much these people have done for me. You can't expect me to take your side after what you just did.

Cole: mom would want us to stick together Maddi

Madeline: well, ya know what? I don't see mom anywhere... and I haven't for 9 years. So don't try to guilt trip me by using her. It won't work.

Cole: and you say I'm the horrible person.

Madeline: Cole, do you not realize the seriousness of what you've done? You ruined Paris she's blaming herself right now. she's saying that she deserved to get slapped. you may be mad right now, but you know just as well as I do that you should NOT have don't that!

Cole: this is her fault, she shouldn't have been such a slut and cheated on me!!

Madeline: that was my fault! I told her to wait until you got to college to break up with you. that had nothing to do with her besides just being a good friend and respecting my wishes before her own. but you damn sure had NO RIGHT to slap her! and for that I will never forgive you. you might have just ruined her relationship with Ivan and her friendship with me because you refuse to go to your anger management classes!

Cole: you know this isn't my fault Maddi!

Madeline: Cole, this conversation is over. don't try calling me. don't try texting me. don't try coming to visit me. get on your flight back to North Carolina and never speak to me, or anyone else in the Team 10 house, ever again!

I hung up the phone. I was so mad! I really needed to fix things with Paris...

I went back into the house to look for Paris. Emilio said she went for walk so I went back outside to find her. I turned to the right and walked. Nothing. I turned to the left and walked. Nothing. I decided I'd check the park because she goes there a lot but I didn't want to go alone because of what happened to Tessa and Erika so I asked Emilio to come.

We finally got to the park and started looking around at all of her favorite places. We finally found her leaning up against a tree.

Emilio and I were walking towards the tree when we saw a blonde with a pink camo hoodie on. It has to be Paris, I mean, PLUG, PLUG, PLUG. We walk over to the girl and it is Paris so we tap her shoulder.

Madeline: Paris, I'm really sorry about everything that happened...

she wasn't answering. she wasn't even moving.

Madeline: Paris please don't ignore me. I truly am sorry...

she still wasn't showing any signs of response so I tickle her side and her body just falls over. I finally realize, she's unconscious...

Madeline: Emilio! call 911! HURRY!!

||Emilio||

*on phone*

Operator: 911 what is your emergency.

Emilio: hurry! send help! we are at the park and my friend just passes out. she's not waking up!

Operator: Help is on the way.

Emilio: thank you so much.

I hang up the phone. I realize Maddi has fallen to the ground and she is crying.

Madeline: th-this is all m-my f-fault. I can't b-believe this is happening.

Emilio: this is not your fault.

I sat down next to her and wrapped my arms around her tightly. she sat Paris's head on her lap and we just sat and waited for the ambulance.

||Paris||

I woke up in a hospital bed to the sound of Ivan, Emilio, Jake, and Madeline talking. I could also hear the beeps from the hospital equipment which was giving me a splitting headache.

Paris: w-what happened?

Jake: Nurse! Nurse! she's awake!

Madeline: how much do you remember?

Paris: I was at the park by the tree crying and then everything is black...

Ivan: you passed out... Emilio and Madeline found you and called 911...

Paris: IVAN!! I'm so happy you're here. I'm so sorry for yelling at you!

Ivan: its ok... I'm just happy you're ok.

Ivan gave me a hug and everyone awed. I love these people so much! just then Tessa and Erika run in.

Tessa: oh my god! I'm so sorry! I was in dance and we couldn't get on our phones but as soon as I got your text I bolted. babe, are you ok?

Paris: I'm fine everyone, I'm fine, I promise

the nurse comes in and checks on everything. she says I only fainted because of stress and other than that I'm perfectly healthy. they sent me home and Ivan didn't leave my side for the rest of the day. (which I didn't mind)
