Chapter 28: fair

Ivan ordered us an uber and we all went upstairs and got ready.
*20 minutes later*

Ivan: *screaming* THE UBER IS HERE!!

We all run downstairs and get in the uber. We finally get to the fair and hit the rides. It was really fun until out of the corner of my eye I see Daniel, the guy watching Emilio and I while we were at the beach the other day.

Madeline: I need to use the restroom. I'll text you when I'm done so I can find u guys again.

Emilio: I'll go with you.

Madeline: no, you go have fun, I'll be fine.

I walked away from the group and up to Daniel.

Madeline: hey, Daniel, right?

Daniel: yea... you remember me?

Madeline: how could I not? You basically watched me and my boyfriend throughout our whole date the other day.

Daniel: oh... you noticed that?

Madeline: no. But he did. And if he knew you were here right now he would be so pissed.

Daniel: you're just so beautiful.

Madeline: yea... my boyfriend thinks so too.

Daniel: his name is Emilio, right? Aren't you only dating him for views? Just like all the other Team 10 couples.

Madeline: WHAT?! How dare you say that? I love Emilio more than anyone, even him, will ever understand. I'm sorry that I'm not interested in you but could you do me a favor and stop trying. It's not going to happen so just give up! You can't say stuff like that about my family! Team 10 is my family and I'm usually a nice girl but you are getting on my last fucking nerve! If I see you again after today I will file for a restraining order!

Daniel: is that how you really feel?

Madeline: yes.

As that word left my mouth he grabbed my wrist with one hand and covered my mouth with the other and we walked into this small building. We were in a very empty part of the fair so nobody could see him grab me. I was so scared.
He pushed me against a wall and started whispering in my ear.

Daniel: *whispering* aren't you such a princess? You think you can treat me like shit just because you're famous? No. I won't stand for this mistreatment. I'm human too and I will make you love me. *normal voice* he's the plan, okay? You, my gorgeous honey bun, are going to break up with Emilio

Madeline: no I'm no-

Daniel: shh, I didn't say you could speak. You're going to break up with Emilio and date me. And if you don't, I'll kill him, if you mention this to anyone, I'll kill you. I will be listening. I'm always listening. I know everything you do throughout the day. I know all of your secrets. I will expose you and kill your one true love if you don't follow my directions. Got it?

Madeline: you wouldn't...

Daniel: oh, but I would. Now, got it?!

Madeline: yes...

As I said that word, I felt a tear run down my cheek and he smiled and said...

Daniel: okay. Now, go run and play with your friends. But that's all he is now, a friend. Do it now! Or else.

I opened the door and texted Emilio. I found out where they were and walked there.

Emilio: are you okay? You look like you've been crying.

He pulled me into a hug and I pushed him off.

Madeline: Emilio, I can't be with you anymore. I'm in love with someone else.

He looked into my eyes and I could see him tearing up. I feel so bad because I love him so much.

Emilio: I- I-

He turns around and walks away and Ivan runs after him.

Paris: what the fuck?! You love Emilio more than anything! I know you do. Why are you crying and why did you just break up with him?!

I burst into tears and took off running in the opposite direction of Emilio and Ivan.
