I stared at the math function. My brain felt like a big sword that tried to fight of every logical thought about math. I had no idea how I was supposed to figure out the answer to this problem. I sighed and officially gave up. I closed my books and put my homework utensils back into my bag. I wouldn't be the only one without answers. Who even cared about a math teacher yelling at half of the class for not getting their homework done.

"How's school going, honey?", I heard the chirpy voice of my mom ask from the couch. She was sitting right in the spot where Brooke sat three days ago and a small smile stole itself on my face.

I haven't seen her in school on Friday which means I haven't seen her since the kiss. I was disappointed that I wouldn't see her for the whole time of the weekend.

"Alright", I answered my mothers question.

"Good, good", she nodded her head absently as she read in a magazine.

I grabbed my phone and let myself drop down next to her scrolling through Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook.

It was my usual Saturday also called ‚our family day'. Ridiculous. My parents and I were usually just hanging around doing different things all alone and my parents were pretending that was family time.

The door bell rang and since no one made any attempts to get up and get it, I lifted myself off the couch and went to the door.

When I opened it my eyes grew wide.

In front of me stood no one else but Brook in some black hot pants and a wide white shirt. Her long legs were covered in over knee stockings and her face was carefully covered in makeup that made her even prettier. I stared at her and suddenly realized that I was only wearing some yoga pants and a crop top. My cheeks got a little red at the thought that the yoga pants barely hid anything and my belly was on full display to her. I felt more productive wearing sports cloths so I usually wore them when I was at home.

"Hey", Brooke smiled at me and I think I forgot to breathe for a quick second.

"Hey", I answered her dozily.

"Do you have time? You wanna go and grab a coffee?", she asked and suddenly she seemed a little bit shy. I wondered whether she was embarrassed about the kiss.

"Uhh ... yeah sure", I answered quickly. "Just let me get changed for a second", I said and turned away from the door.

I still could see her gaze drop to my butt that was now turned towards her and a bit of a dirty smile spread across her lips.

"I wouldn't mind if you didn't", I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to reach my ears so I acted like I didn't hear it.

I went inside and left her at the door. I thought about changing but when I thought about Brooke's comment I grinned and decided not to.

I put on some sneakers and grabbed my keys.

"I'll go for a walk for a while", I yell into the penthouse to let my parents know.

"Okay", came the short answer from my mom who was still deep in her magazine. No answer from my dad however. I shrugged my shoulders and went back to the door where Brooke was waiting outside.
