Hey guys,
I had trouble with writing blockade when writing this which means here is a very bad very short chapter.
But it's gonna get better again, I promise!
Thank you all for your support even through those bad chapters!
Love you all -MayThe next days went by in a blur. The hours I didn't have school or theatre school ended in me learning Juliet's text. The play was on Monday in a week and I had to hurry.
Brooke helped me a lot and also spent her free time to rehearse with me. We were stuck together all day long except for a few hours where she had to do some „stuff". I was pretty sure that it had something to do with Boston and their gang but I didn't ask. She would tell me if she wanted to.
The rehearsals with Karter was rather hard for all of us. It was awkward for me to play Karter's lover after everything that happened and Brooke didn't like seeing me like that either. Riley was fuming when she heard the news that I got her role. She didn't care that I was forced to take it by our teacher. She was still understudy but that wasn't enough for her.
The hours of training were rough and intense.
But we made it. It was Friday evening and we were done. The scenery was perfect and so were our costumes. We had rehearsed until we knew that we could do it even in our sleeps. Everything was ready for Monday to come.
Brooke and I were driving to the cinema when she got a call.
„It was Boston. I have to go get him", she said after hanging up. Her knuckles went white as she grabbed the stirring wheel harder. „Is everything okay?", I asked but I knew the answer from her hard expression. I still didn't know how serious the gang business was since she never talked about it but to be honest, I was scared to find out.
There were a lot of rumors about Boston and his gang in school and I didn't like any of them. I would prefer Brooke not being part of it but we weren't long enough in a relationship yet for me to ask such a big thing.
Brooke had changed the direction we were driving and now we were heading to the more run down parts of the city. I've driven through there before and it was creepy. It wasn't any different than those times but weirdly I felt safe with Brooke next to me.
My girlfriend turned into a small alley and stopped the car.
She loosened her seatbelt and turned towards me. „I'll be back in a minute. Stay in the car and lock the doors until I'm back", her voice was sternly and she waited for me to nod.
I did and she quickly left the car to walk further down the alley.
I locked the doors and waited for her to return but she didn't come back in the next fifteen minutes. I didn't allow myself to panic. She would come back.
Suddenly the window next to me shattered and I felt a strong grip on my shoulders. I tried to shake the hands off or get a hold of something but it was no use, I was being pulled straight out of the window. I flinched when I felt the splintered glass cut into my sides.
When I was out of the car I was being held up by a strong body. Definitely a well build guy. I tried to get away from him but immediately stopped when I felt something cool against my throat. „Shh little bird. It's alright. We will wait together for your little bitch of a girlfriend to come back", I felt his hot breath against my cheek and I felt a shudder run through me.
Okay now was probably the right moment to panic.
