//Monday//

I looked around bored deep in thoughts.

"Are you waiting for someone?"

JaeMin snapped me out of my daily dreams.

"Whahahat?" I laughed awkwardly as I looked at her while acting confused.

She furrowed a brow. "Why are you staring at the door the whole time?"

"I am not." I walked threw the store and started to arrange the spare books.

She crossed her arms. "My shift ends in 10 minutes, you can do the rest on your own right?"

"Of course."

'I just started my shift and yet I am distracted.'

"Having a date again today?" I said with a smirk.

"No not this time. We need to hang out more after your exam, I am dying at home because of boredom." She said and pouted.

I chuckled at her cute expression. "Fine, my exam is in 2 weeks after that I am free till the internship."

"Do you have the appointment this week on Thursday?" She grabbed her bag and walked next to me.

"No it's next week." I carried the books to the shelves while JaeMin followed me.

"Do you know what you are going to wear?" I put the books down and stood there looking at her with my hands on my hips.

"Yeah I have a concept in my mind but I don't know if it'll work out." I said thoughtful.

"Send me pics of it and I'll tell you." She winked at me. "Gotta go now otherwise I'll miss the bus. Bye!" She waved and left the store.

Silence.

We have a basement downstairs where we store books that we didn't find time to arrange into the shelves yet. The boss always brings some books he finds everywhere and stores them downstairs.

Now that I have time I should try to assert them.
But now that I think of it.... I never really saw the boss quite a lot here lately...

I walked downstairs as I heard the bell.

"A Customer!" I quickly hurried back upstairs but I saw no one. My gaze wandered to the counter on which a coffee was placed.

I slowly made my way there and looked at it suspicious.

"It's a caramel latte." A familiar voice made me turn around.

"Oh Kai!" I said trying to sound not too happy.

"How have you been? I thought I should stop by and reward you for your hard work today." He said with a smile.

I grabbed the coffee. "Thank you so much." I said with a smile and took a sip. The sweet taste gave me chills and I continued drinking it with a smile.

"You like sweet things?" He said with a chuckle.

"Yes I live for it." I laughed. "I could live on without any food but sweets."

He laughed in response. "So you told me you can recommend me good books?" He said and looked around the empty store.

"Yes we got several new books, I didn't read them yet but I peeked in one of them. Wait a minute." I hurried downstairs and came back with a small book in my hand.
