Chpt. 48

"Wish you a merry Christmas yooo yo...
Ouch!" Jackson's mother gave Jackson a slap on his neck.

"Jackson! Don't act like a child." She scolded him with an angry glare.

We sat at the living room after we ate a delicious meal. His mother did prepare a lot and they even bought a present for me.

Of course I had some for them too.

We laughed and talked a lot till late at night.

"I should head home now." I excused myself and they gave me a sad expression.

"Already? But we had so much fun." Jackson pouted.

"I am really sorry." I said with a weak smile.

"You have to be exhausted it's okay." Jackson's mother said and walked with me to the door.

I said goodbye to all of them and left.

I cuddled into my warm coat and decided to take a little walk threw the city before heading home.

Since it is Christmas every couple was outside spending time together.

Then I felt someone touching my shoulder.

I turned around and saw someone in a big reindeer costume. I smiled and he opened his arms for me to hug him.

How weird. I laughed and shook my head.
I don't even know who's in this costume.

He stepped a little closer being stubborn about hugging me.

Fine. I gave in and cuddled him.

But suddenly he held me tighter and pushed me to the place where the big Christmas tree was. Then he pointed to a big sign and I smiled brightly as I read it.

"There's a firework?! That's awesome thank you." I hugged him again and he waved at me before he disappeared.

There were so many people.

I tried to get a good spot from where I could see the firework.

I bumped into a broad back and moaned in pain as I held my forehead.

The person turned around and looked down on me unimpressed.

"You are still clumsy." He laughed.

"Excuse me? Mark!" I looked up to person and as I realized who it was I happily hugged him. "What are you doing here?"

"Ah... just doing someone a favor." He laughed and put his arm around my shoulder.

Confused I looked at him as we walked away from the crowd.

"You can see the firework from here too." He withdraw his arm and winked at me.

"Wha...." without letting me talk he left.

How did he know that I want to watch it? I scoffed. What an Idiot.. leaving me like that. Pouting I crossed my arms and turned around.

I looked up to the sky excited waiting for the firework.

My jaw drop open as it started.

So many colours.

"It's so beautiful...." I whispered as I watched it.

"So are you." I suddenly heard a deep voice next to my ear.

My body stiffened and I didn't dare to turn around.

"Jae-" He cut me off as he made me spin around while holding my shoulders.
