Chpt. 26

Namjoon went to buy pain killer while I was waiting in my room for him to come back.

I heard a knock on my door.

I opened it with my blanket wrapped around me but to my surprise...

"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" JaeBum stood there and furrowed a brow.

"I-I didn't e-expect you." I stammered.

"Why? Who'd you wait for?" He asked impatiently and obviously mad at my words.

"Anyways! What do you want?" I quickly asked.

'Oh my god! Does he care about me?!'

"Suho said you are ill so I felt like checking on you. Since you are my secretary this is my duty." He said crossing his arms.

"It's okay I'm fine." I tried to assure him.

'So that's what's going on....' I felt disappointed but hey, what did I expect from him? He's over me.

He sighed and held a small paper bag up.

"For you." He said harshly.

I took the bag and looked at him confused.

He drew his gaze shyly away from me.

"Breakfast. Since you didn't show up." He said and stuck his hands into his pockets.

"Thank you." I blushed and bowed lightly. His gaze wandered down to the warm-water bottle I held up my uterus.

He frowned.
Then suddenly his jaw dropped open and his eyes widened.

"Perhaps..... A-A-Are... are you pregnant?" He asked with a pale face.

"YAH!" I suddenly yelled ignoring the pain which got worse with every move. I punched his arm. "Pabo! Who do you think you are talking to?!"

"S-Sorry!" He backed off but I grabbed him by the collarbone.

"Have some comprehension! You..." From the corner of my eye I saw Namjoon walking up the stairs. I quickly pulled JaeBum inside and pushed him to the living room. "Stay quiet!" I ordered and he obeyed.

Namjoon walked towards me with a smile.

"Here." He gave me the bag with pain killers.

"Thank you so much! You know... I should sleep a bit." I said and he looked a bit disappointed.

"Okay get rest. Then I'll see you later? At the party?" I nodded and gave him a smile. After that he left.

"Who was that?" JaeBum said as soon as I closed the door.

'Shit. I totally forgot about him.'

He sat on the couch and looked at me suspicious.

"No one." I took a pill out and gulped it down with a glass of water.

I felt a bit dizzy because of my anger that has already faded.

My legs felt weak and I dropped myself onto the couch.
