He tapped his fingers on the counter desperately waiting for customers.

"Eomma!" He stretched his arms and made his way to the kitchen. "Eomma?"

She was cleaning the dishes and didn't hear him coming in.

"Eomma." He gently touched her shoulder. "Go home. I'll take care of the rest." He smiled at her.

"Aigooo... you became such a gentlemen. Thank you my son." She placed a kiss on his forehead. "Then I'll go ahead."

She left the coffee shop while JinYoung finished doing the dishes.

It was almost closing time but a certain person entered the coffee shop.

As JinYoung heard the bell chiming he quickly walked out of the kitchen.

"Oh it's you." He said and put the cloth in his hand away. "The usual?" He asked and she nodded with a smile.

"How are you today?" She asked shyly while fiddling with the hem of her skirt.

"I'm fine." He placed the coffee on the counter waiting for her to pay.

"I see..." She placed the money on the counter and hesitantly grabbed the coffee.

"You shouldn't be drinking coffee this late."
She looked up and met his eyes.
"You won't be able to sleep." He added.

She smiled brightly and brushed a few strands behind her ear.

"Uhm... to be honest... I'm not here because of the coffee." She confessed with blushed cheeks.

"Oh well... since we arranged the tables and chairs differently the atmosphere has become quite better." He crossed his arms and looked around the empty shop. "But I don't think that's enough of a reason to drink coffee this late." He said thoughtful.

Confused she turned around to look at the new arranged furniture.

"O-Okay... I'll go then..." She looked down with disappointment.

"Be careful on your way home. What was your name again?" He asked trying to remember it.

Feeling a stab in her heart she paused.

"YeJi." She mumbled. "JinYoung it's a pity that you don't even remember it." She chuckled to hide how hurt she was about the fact that he again forgot her name.

She slowly made her way to the door and took a last glance at JinYoung who was now cleaning the counter.

She took a deep breath before speaking to him again.

"JinYoung?" She called him with a smile.

He looked up at her and furrowed a brow.

"M-Maybe w-we can walk home t-together?" Her heart was racing like crazy but she tried hard to remain calm.

He took a glance at the clock.

"Oh... it's already past our closing time. Well then wait a minute. I'll be back quickly." He disappeared into the back.

She jumped happily and cheered for herself. Maybe this was her chance! Will he finally look at her differently? At least this was her biggest wish.

After he came back both went out and JinYoung locked the door.

"Let's go." He said and went ahead. She quickly followed him.
"It's already dark outside. You really shouldn't go out this late." He said looking up to the dark clouded sky.
