Chpt. 10

I was whistling my new favorite song while Chanyeol and I were walking out of the library.

"You don't have to work today right? Let's do something fun." He suggested with a childish grin.

"Ah... sorry Channie but I am busy today." I said with a half smile.

"But we finished early today! Pleaaase~!" He begged and grabbed my hand.

We were walking on but suddenly he stopped and narrowed his eyes at me.

"You are hiding something." He said and grabbed my shoulders while staring into my eyes. I got nervous and stare back.

"Tell me! You hurried with the math tasks so much..." he said thoughtful while looking down like the answers to the questions in his mind are written on the floor.

"A...ahahahahh...." I laughed awkwardly. "Don't be ridiculous!" I pushed him lightly away.

I looked at my phone.

"Omooooo! Look how the time flies by! It's already 1!" I got free of his grip.

"Anyways! See you tomorrow then!" I gave him a quick wave and hurried to the backyard of the university where the parking spots are.

I spotted a black car with a handsome boy leaning against it. He wore a blue button shirt along with white suitpants.

'I can still go back...' I said and looked down on my clothes. I wore a denim skirt along with a black long sleeve shirt and white sneakers.

"Where are you think you are going?" Chanyeol grabbed my wrist from behind.

I jumped and quickly turned around shocked.

"Why are you following me?!" I snapped.

Chanyeol looked at me with a sad expression.
"Can we at least hang out a bit later?" He pouted.
"Let's eat something! Please?" He looked at me with puppy eyes.

"Okay." I quickly agreed. "Just go now!" I pushed him by the back.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" He said and tried to stop me.

"I'll tell you later okay? Please just go now!"

He scanned me suspicious and then simply walked away.

I waited for him to disappear and turned back to Kai's direction.

"Omo!" I got a shock when I saw Kai standing behind me. "Y-You scared me!" I put my hand on my heart which was beating rapidly while breathing heavily.

I earned a chuckle from him. "Sorry, who was your friend?" He said and looked at the direction Chanyeol disappeared.

"He is one of my best friends, Chanyeol." I said and looked back hoping that Chanyeol doesn't come back.

'Now I have bad feelings about not telling Channie the truth...'

"Maybe... is he your boyfriend?" He said with a sheepish smile.

"Ah! No!" I laughed. "Chanyeol has a girlfriend."

"Oh really?" Kai said surprised. "Is she okay with you two being so close?"

"I hope so, I never met her." I said thoughtful.

Kai laughed. "Be careful, maybe she doesn't exist." He gave me the sign to go to his car.
