                       Your Pov

We entered the parking lot of the hotel in Houston, Texas. Everyone was tired from the night's earlier events. I, however,  was wide awake with a small smile on my face. I'm positive that Dinah doesn't know that I know she still loves me. My smile grew wider at that thought. I shut the door of the car and began to walk to the hotel entrance along with Lauren and Normani. "It's not even morning and we've already had enough excitement" Normani laughed. "Yeah, I don't even think I'm going to make it to my bed" Lauren smiled. "Well, I'm a creature of the night so I'm ready for another adventure" I grinned. "Okay, well wait until tomorrow, you night crawler" Lauren said. I chuckled causing for all of us to erupt in laughter. "What's got you in such a great mood?" Lauren asked. "I don't know" I smirked. "Is it something with a certain blonde-haired basketball player?" Normani asked. "Better not be, she scooped up your heart then shattered it into a thousand pieces" Lauren said. "Wow Laur, subtle" Normani said. "Hey, I'm just protecting our girl, I like that Blake guy" Lauren quirked her eyebrow. "Thanks for the info Lo" I said. Normani shook her head. "Stop getting in the way of true love" Normani scolded. She dragged Lauren into the hotel room with me trailing behind. "Uh, I'm going to shower" I said. "Alright" Normani said. I took a white t-shirt and black and white Nike shorts from my suitcase to the bathroom with me. I turned on the shower and felt the water. "Perfect" I mumbled. I don't think a lot of people like taking sixty-five degree showers but when you take a bunch of ice baths after a game it becomes a normalcy. I scrubbed the soap over my body then rinsed it off and lowered my head under the shower head. I rubbed my face with the water from the shower then shut it off. I wrapped a towel around my head and my body. I dried my body first then rubbed lotion on my arms, leg, and face. I pulled my t-shirt over my head then brought my shorts up my legs. I unwrapped the towel from my hair and rubbed it around my head. I left the bathroom and noticed Lauren and Normani were already asleep. I laughed then slipped on my black vans. I brought my hair into a ponytail then slowly opened the door. I turned back to slowly close it. "Are we both sneaking out?" I jumped. "Don't scare me like that" I said. "Where are you going?" Dinah asked. "I'm just taking a walk" I said. "Mind if I tag along?" She smirked. "Not if you don't annoy me" I said. We started walking down the hall. "Do you remember that time where we were walking in a hotel like this around the same time madly in love" Dinah said. My mouth went dry and I didn't answer. "Dinah, I-  " She turned to me with a longing gaze. "We should go outside, and get some fresh air" I said. "Y/N" Dinah called. "Y/N/N" Dinah pushed me against the wall. "I love you" Dinah said. "- and I never stopped" She smiled. Dinah brought her hand up to my cheek. I raised my hand and wrapped it around her wrist.  "We c-can't Dinah, I'm sorry, but if we do anything tonight it's going to be platonic, because like I told you I would never cheat" I said. "I don't care about Heather, I care about you, and I'm so sorry I hurt you, don't you still love me?" Dinah asked. A tear fell from my cheek. "Our love went up into flames Dinah, I don't know you anymore, you're practically a stranger or some silhouette" I said. "I would leave to recreate what we had but they turned into shadows that cloud my heart and linger in my head" I said. "I don't want to get hurt again" my lip quivered. "I will never hurt you again, ever" Dinah said sternly. "You're the one I want to be with for the rest of my life, I love you" Dinah said. "I don't believe you" I said. "Believe it, baby,  because I'm yours and you're mine" Dinah was desperately looking for a silver lining, but I'm not, at least not now. I was excited about Dinah loving me again but after what Lauren said I'm not so sure. "Not every story has a happy ending D" I said. I pushed gently against her shoulders and she stepped aside. "Look me in the eye and tell me you don't love me" Dinah said. "Dinah" "Tell me Y/N, and I'll walk away" Dinah said. "Time heals" I began to walk back to the hotel but Dinah stopped me again. "I let you go once, I'm not letting you go again" Dinah said. "I'm waiting for you" Dinah said. "I love you" I said. Dinah grinned. "Took you long enough" I rolled my eyes. "Whatever Dinah" I said. "It's not over until the witch is gone" Dinah tilted her head. "Heather?" She asked. "Who else?" I scoffed. "We broke up" Dinah smirked. "You're lying" I said. Dinah stayed quiet for a second then invaded my space and like it was a dream she latched her lips onto mine and slowly moved them. I melted in her embrace and immediately kissed her back with just as much passion if not more. Everything I was thinking about faded away and all I could think about was this moment and her arms that I don't know how I was able to live without. She began to pull away and I slowly began to drift back to reality. Her head rested against mine. "Is it just me or was that better than all the other times we've kissed?" Dinah asked. I giggled causing her to peck my lips once more and smile widely. However, as I said before, we're star-crossed lovers cursed with no happy ending.
