Being in a coma is weird. You hear everything yet you can't see or say anything. I could hear Y/N apologizing for making me angry but I couldn't say anything to comfort her. I was passed that and I just wish she knew. My parents came later on in the week. Regina called me stupid for driving so fast and I really wanted to laugh. Seth made me want to cry with what he said. I want to get better for him. I just don't know how to wake up from a coma. In every movie or show the person in a coma always goes through this journey before waking up, like in "If I stay". This is real life though and I don't know what to do.
Your POV
"What do you think she's thinking about?", Normani asked. "I don't know, maybe she's sleeping, neurologically, I mean", Lauren said. "Maybe she's trying to find a way to get out of this coma", I sighed. My hand was on Dinah's cold and numb one. "She looks like a corpse", Lauren said. "Lauren! You know she can hear you right?", Normani asked. "Well, I- come on, Dinah would laugh at that", Lauren said. "Dinah doesn't like you", Normani said. Lauren's face went red. "They don't like each other", I said. "Yeah, you don't like her Laur", Normani said. "That doesn't matter, she's in a coma, and we were friends before", Lauren said. "Wake up!", Kehlani yelled as she entered the room. Normani jumped from her seat. "Wow Kehlani!, no matter how many times you do that the only person you wake up is me", Normani said. "I know and it's hilarious", Kehlani said. Normani rolled her eyes at her causing Kehlani to smirk. "Anyway, break is almost over girls", Kehlani said. "Soon, we have to leave New Orleans", I frowned. "Do we have to?", I asked. "You know we do", Normani said. "We have 2 more weeks of break", I said. "Dinah better wake up soon than", Kehlani said. "Dinah's a fighter, she'll be fine", I said. "Yeah so you should be okay to go back to London", Normani said. "Hopefully", I said. "Come on Y/N, we're going to stop you from starving yourself", Kehlani said. "I'm not starving myself", I scoffed. "Girl, you haven't left this room since yesterday", Normani said. "Fine, I'm coming Lani", I said. "Good", Kehlani smiled. We walked out of the room and Kehlani looked over at me. "You really think she's going to be okay?", Kehlani asked. "I know she will", I said. "Yeah", Kehlani said.
Dinah POV
"Listen Dinah, we've been friends for a long time and if you killed yourself over a damn girl, I'm gonna smack you", Normani said. "Are you sure she can hear you? Cause that would've woken me up", Lauren said. "She can hear me, her finger just twitched", Normani said. It was a small movement but that was the best I could do to show Normani she doesn't have to slap me. "I think Y/N would Sharkeisha slap you for trying to Sharkeisha slap Dinah back into reality", Lauren said. "True", Normani laughed. I think I would die if Normani sharkeisha slapped me. Just a thought. Although, it did make me want to break down laughing. Lauren & Normani are so funny, I kinda forgot that. I remember when we were all at Camila's house and had a prank war. That was so much fun and it feels like it happened ages ago. I wish I could take back the last two years. I'd do anything to make things right. Soon Normani and Lauren left and I was left with my thoughts. "You know dying probably wouldn't make things right", I looked around. "Who- " my jaw dropped. "Y/N, how are you here?", I asked. "Well technically I'm not, but your brain is just creating this story in your mind I guess", Y/N said. "Like a movie?", I asked. "Yeah, Dinah, you're in a movie", Y/N laughed. "What would you do if I was dead?", I asked. "I don't know", Y/N said. "I love you", I said. Y/N laughed. "You have a funny way of showing it", Y/N said. "When I get out of this coma, I'm going to marry you", I said. "Believe that", Y/N knelt down and looked up at me. "I know",
