Seraph looked in surprise at Addie's and Celtore's close relationship; how could this creature, who overreacts over the minor things which are presented to him, and who's personality is so vicious, be so caring and lovable?
Instead of contemplating about a relationship which he would obviously never understand, and leave them all waiting outside the dorm room until he found the answer, Seraph decided to invite them inside: "Would you all like to come inside?" He asked them, moving aside to free a space in the doorway.
Othello walked to the door, but then remembered his manners, "Ladies first." He stated, leading Addie's way with his arms and hands.
Addie bowed her head in thanks, then she walked through the doorway. Celtore eyed the dwarf with his pale, red eyes: the black, thin pupil grew wider in his aggression as they passed him.
Addie looked around in disgust and sympathy, "These conditions are terrible," She remarked, "I never realised how small the commoners' dorms were," She turned around to Seraph who had just closed the door and she continued her complaining, "This is why I hate the fight between different levels of hierarchy; everyone should be treated the same, we are all human after all!" She looked at Othello, then corrected herself, "Well, we are all humanoid forms. Why should we all be placed into different categories just because our parents are slightly richer, or more educated?"
"I can't believe we have a noble who feels the exact same way us commoners feel!" Genevieve said in excitement, "We should introduce you to Fletcher."
Addie tilted her head in interest and confusion, "Fletcher?" She questioned.
"Yes," Othello replied, "You know him?" He asked.
"Yes, I met him earlier today," She answered, "In the library. I was having a peaceful moment, admiring Celtore's magnificent colours, when Fletcher and the servant strolled in. I only introduced myself to him because Celtore and his salamander, Ignatius, were going to fight each other."
"Awww, so you saved Ignatius?" Genevieve hoped, holding her hands together in admiration.
"Yes, and Celtore." Addie replied. She didn't want to seem selfish, so she told a bit of the truth and a bit of a lie.
"Why don't we all go find Fletcher now?" Othello suggested, "I'm sure he's somewhere in the academy," He smiled at Addie, "This is your second year, right? So surely you could help us find him?"
Addie tried to hide her disinterested grimace by hiding her mouth behind Celtore's wing, which luckily was being stretched at the time. She didn't want to find Fletcher, she didn't dislike him, she just hadn't made a good impression before; facing him again would make her anxiety take over again and she would definitely lose the friends she already has now. Her anxiety makes Celtore get very defensive and over protective, and if they see her cower in a corner while Celtore attacks them, it would reveal that she isn't as strong as she makes out to be.
However, Addie decided that it might be good for her to fight her fears; if she was going to be a soldier then she needed to learn to swallow her problems and forget them, forever. She finally agreed to find Fletcher.
Upon hearing her final decision Genevieve grabbed her arm, the one without Celtore on the shoulder, and pulled her out of the room, jumping around in anticipation. She liked being popular for once, but she felt that she was just becoming a trophy for the three of them to show around. A guard, so they could be protected by the other nobles. She hoped she was wrong.
