The Portals (A Yoglabs Fan-Fic)

Chapter 1: Coffee and Confusion

Simon's POV:

I stood next to the coffee machine waiting for Lewis to arrive. I twiddled my thumbs for a few minutes and my mind started to drift away from me and I began thinking about Jaffa's and digging. I don't know how long I was standing there but I was pulled out of my day dream with a hand on my shoulder. "Hello friend!" Lewis said with enthusiasm.

"Hello!" I replied.

"I've got something exciting to show you today"

"What is it!?" I said excitedly.

"You'll see, but first try the coffee machine it should be working!

I pressed down the button next to me and a small mug of coffee was dispensed. I picked it up and took a large swig. The instant the coffee touched my lips a warm sensation came over me. My body started to shake and I randomly started to dance. "What the HELL are you doing!?" Lewis asked confused.

"I don't know!" I screamed

My body moved swiftly as a danced and pranced my way across the break room, thankfully the strange effect wore off but my body wasn't ready for the sudden stop and I fell over on my large, round belly! "Well that was...strange." Lewis exclaimed. "Anyway, come with me I've got something very special to show you today, but be warned it might be dangerous." I followed Lewis out of the break room and we walked down the white corridors.

Lewis' POV:

I stood there looking at the purple swirls which were inside the dark black frame entranced. I knew I needed to get to Simon but my body couldn't move. I heard the low humming noise the portal made and the quiet yet disturbing moans and screams coming from the portal. A wave of depression flooded over me and I crumpled to the floor tears forming in my eye's. I got up slowly and walked out of the room into the bright corridor. I heard a noise behind almost like a screech of some mysterious creature. I looked behind and saw nothing but the portal and purple smoke radiating from it. I shrugged it off and continued my way down the corridors towards the break room.
