Simon's POV:

I follow Lewis down the corridors passing many scientists as we walk by. I look in different rooms and see many things I've seen before: The wave makr, the BBQ park, the Yoglabs Space Launch centre and many more things. We continued down the hall in complete silence and the only sound which was heard was the low conversations of passing scientists, the hum of the lights above us and our own footsteps. We split off from the main corridor and began following a black cloth path. We walked down a series of stone steps with dim lights next to the steps. "We're almost there." Lewis says and I nod as a sign of ok. We finish walking down the steps and enter a large room with a strange portal, a one I've never seen the likes of before.

I looked at the portal in pure awe. "What is it?" I ask Lewis still looking at the portal.

"It's a new kind of portal. We found ways to create portals leading to other places other than the Nether and The End."

"Wow! Where does it lead?"

"You will see when we go through. Don't be scared I don't want to push you through."

I stood looking at the portal and waited for Lewis to finish talking with a scientist. "Let's go." He said and walked into the portal and vanished. I stood there unsure. Should I go through, is it safe? Also where does it lead to? I thought for another moment and pushed all bad thought out of my mind, stepped forward and walked into the purple swirls. A horrible screech pierced my ears as I stepped through. My head ached and I floated through darkness for a few moments. I fell out the portal and landed on my back. I stood up, my head still spinning and I threw up on the grass I was standing on. Lewis stepped back and laughed.

"What on earth was that?!"

"That Simon, was like everyone's first time going through this portal!"

I looked at him annoyed but gave him a smile. I looked around at my surroundings and was stunned by the pure beauty around me. A large mountain range was behind me and a bright blue sky with no clouds was above me. A warm breeze brushed through my beard and the long grass brushed against my legs. In front of me was a large forest with a thick canopy covering the bright, hot sun. The wind once again blew and the canopy rustled. A beaten dirt path was leading through the middle of the trees and Lewis was standing at the start of the track watching me. Lewis seemed off today but I couldn't put my finger on why. I walked up to him and smiled. "Where are we going now?"

"Down this track." Lewis replied.

"Lead the way then."

Lewis started forward and I followed him. Something wasn't quite right. I felt uncomfortable, a feeling came over me almost like I was being watched. I turned around and saw a figure standing at the entrance to the forest. A black hood was over his head and a black bandana covered his mouth and nose. His eyes were hidden in the shadows the hood created and I turned round to see if Lewis saw what I saw. He was still walking. I tuned back round. Nothing. Nothing was there. I was confused and started walking backwards not moving my eyes from where the figure was standing. I swivelled round on my feet and ran back up to Lewis. He looked at me. "Is everything alright?" He asks.

"Yes, fine."

We continued down the path and I tried to forget what just happened.

Lewis' POV:

I stood waiting for Simon to come through the portal. I stood anxious feeling uncomfortable. I looked into the forest ahead of me and thought I saw a figure. I looked at the portal and looked back at the forest. Nothing there. My eyes were playing tricks on me. Simon fell through the portal on his back, stood up and was sick. I stepped back and turned away laughing. "What on earth was that?!" He asks angrily and confused.

"That Simon, was like everyone's first time going through this portal!" I replied. He looked at me looking at me quite annoyed but with a smile on his face. He then began to look around him. I left him to his own devices and walked to the path leading into the forest. He continued looking at his surroundings then looked up at me. He stood there, just looking at me for a bit then walked up. "Where are we going now?" He asked me.

"Down this track." I replied.

"Lead the way then."

I walked up the path and looked into the dark forest. The breeze blew the leaves above me and I smiled, content walking through the trees. I continued walking and thought about the figure. It was nothing. Nothing was there. Simon ran up. "Is everything alright?" I ask.

"Yes, fine." He replies.

We walk down the path and continue deeper into the dark, dense forest.

The Hooded Figure's POV:

I stood under the canopy and saw him come through the portal again. How dare they enter my domain. How dare they. He looks at me and I stand still. He looks confused and look's back at the portal. I teleport leaving purple smoke behind me . I crouch behind a rock I appeared next to. He looks back and sees nothing. I grin to myself behind my bandana. Another comes through landing on his back, stands up and is sick. He seems weak. An easy target. Maybe later though first I should intimidate him. He looks around and I duck behind the rock again. After I'm sure he isn't looking I look back up. There standing at the pathway and they start walking down the path. I teleport after a few moments to the start of the path. The dwarf, the second one through the portal, turns round and looks at me. I stare at him and I sense the fear he has. He turns round and I vanish. Soon. Soon.
