(Hi guys! Sorry this chapter has taken a while but I struggled to get it started off. But it's here now and that's all that matters! Anyway, enjoy the chapter!)

Simon's POV:

Walking. Constant walking. My little dwarf legs couldn't carry me much longer. Lewis has no idea where we were going, but we just keep walking. We had been here before but I kept my mouth shut because he can get quite angry when he's lost. 'Hello flower we've seen before!' I think to myself. Lewis is at the front with Hannah by his side and Duncan is a few steps behind them. I however am lagging a bit behind. But that's not a surprise because I'm a little dwarf. " Lewis where are we?" I call to the front. That was a mistake! "I don't know." He replies through gritted teeth. 'I don't want to set him off. So I'll zip my mouth shut.' I think to myself.

The trees were beginning to thin out now and the sun could break through the gaps in the leaves and branches above us. "We're out of this stupid forest!" Lewis shouted and I ran up to him.

My eyes were greeted with a beautiful sight. Green hills rose around the green plain and the grass moved in the wind. In the distance tall mountains watched over the green sea. A small stream trickled through a small rocky waterway. The waterway led into the hills and towards the mountains. Brightly coloured flowers littered the ground and small rabbit holes were dotted around the grass. "This is beautiful!" Hannah exclaimed.

"It is!" I say excitedly.

I walk up to the front, next to Hannah, and flopped onto the grass. Green surrounds me and blue skies look down on me. "Can we rest here for a bit?" I ask Lewis.

"We should really keep moving..." Lewis replies.

"Please Lewis. Just for a few minutes?" Hannah supports me.

"Fine." Lewis says sitting down next to me.

The sun beats down on me and I feel peaceful. "Finally! Rest for my little dwarf legs!" I say snickering. Everyone laughs and smiles. Although this place is horrible it's still beautiful. I close my eyes and listen to the sounds around me. Birds tweet from above me and the wind howls gently and low in my ears. The grass moves and rustles as the breeze brushes against it. Breathing from the right and left of me fills my ears. I let my body relax and let the sounds engulf me.

A scream erupts from the right of me. My eyes flick open and I turn to look at what caused it. Duncan is flailing his arms and kicking his legs. I look down and see a strange creature clawing at his feet and legs. I jump to my feet and kick the creature off his legs. He pulls himself up walks backward quickly.

Duncan's POV:

I close my eyes and allow myself a few moments of peace. Too much has been going on at the moment. I shouldn't be here! I should be at home, drinking my home brew and doing science! But no. I'm here because they needed me to help them. Which is understandable, but I still wish they hadn't came here in the first place! I had a bad feeling about this place as soon as we discovered that it existed. I think of Yoglabs. I think of her. Her bright orange eyes. Her bright red hair. Her green, translucent visor covering one eye. Her tiny cut from the glass. Her dark red blood. The giant monstrosity. Her dying scream. The sound of bullets. The monsters black blood spilling onto the white tiles. A tear dropped from my eye.

I lay there thinking. Then I scream as my legs erupt in pain. My eyes snap open, I kick my legs and I flail my arms. I look down and see a strange creature clawing at my legs. Simon kicks it off and I get myself to my feet. I take a closer look at the creature. Dark brown scales covered its body, a long tail with a sharp point curled down onto the floor, small legs carried the body and its feet had sharp, blood soaked claws protruding from the scales. A short neck carries the dragon like head. Pointy ears rise from the back of the head and large, yellow eyes stare at me. Steam comes from the creature's nostrils and sharp teeth pierce its gums. The tail shoots past me and the sharp point cuts his cheek. He grimaces in pain and puts his hand over the bleeding slash. Lewis runs up to us. "Stay back Hannah!" he shouts. She nods and takes a few steps back. I pick up a stick lying on the grass and Lewis pulls out the knife he took from the mysterious figure and Simon (being Simon) pulls up a bright pink flower! Hannah buries her face in her hands and lets out a small laugh. The creature leaps at me and I dodge out the way by diving to the floor, rolling and getting up. I slam the stick down on the creature's back and the stick splinters. It whips its head round at me and snarls. A long, green tongue pushes through the teeth and licks its face, preparing to devour me. It screeches and dark blood begins to ooze from its back. Lewis pulls out the knife and takes a step away. The creature slowly advances towards him, hissing. I kick the creature from behind and Lewis ducks as it flips over his head. It scrambles to its feet and snarls again. Simon Leaps onto the creature keeping it down and Lewis stabs it in the neck! A gurgling noise comes from the creatures mouth as it drowns on its own blood. It lets out and final breath before it slips away from life. Simon leans down, closes its eyes and places the flower behind its ear.

My legs sting as I look at the red cuts on my legs. The blood has turned my lab-coat into a red colour. I'm going to need a new one when I get home. If I get home. Lewis wipes the blood from his knife with a leaf and Simon removes the blood from his face with spit and a leaf. Hannah sits next to Lewis checking if he is hurt. I close my eyes and count to ten. 'I will find someone who loves me' I say to myself.
