(I'll explain my disappearance at the end of the chapter so enjoy.)

Hannah's POV:

"Will you marry me?" Lewis asks. This can't be happening. So many thoughts are rushing through my mind. So many answers. So many possibilities. I'm starting to panic, I hate pressure. 'What do I say?'. Lewis is gazing up at me; his eyes stare through my soul. I need to say something but what!? Decision. Make one, now. I take in a breath and let out a whisper. "Y-yes. I will." I smile and look at my hand as Lewis slips the ring onto my finger. The cool metal is a welcoming contrast to my warm fingers. I dreamily gaze at the diamond embedded in the glimmering golden band. He stands up and we kiss, wrapping our arms around each other. Now, now we need to get back home. Alive.

Duncan's POV:

I can't avert my gaze from the two. The perfect happy couple, and there's me... alone. I'm starting think I'll be alone forever, that I'll never find someone to share my strange life with. A let a sigh escape from my mouth and Simon looks at me. "Hey bud. What's wrong?" he asks, worried for my sake.

"Nothing..."

"No, I know that look and it's not nothing! " He plonks himself down next to me.

"...." I stay silent.

"Look, do you want some advice? "

"Sure why not...." I mumble.

"Don't worry about finding someone. You're a great guy, they'll find you. They could come anyway: a bar, a walk, looking for help.... Hell they could even fall from the sky!"

I'm taken a back slightly "T-thanks Simon, it means a lot. Although I doubt that last one is possible." A small smile appears on my face.

"I was going a little farfetched on the last one!" He chuckles a hearty dwarf laugh.

"You're a good friend Simon."

"Right back at ya bud!"

I looked back at Lewis and Hannah, but this time smiling. I'm not going to be jealous anymore, I can't be. It's unfair on them both. They deserve this after all. Science can be my partner!

They walk back over to us, hand in hand. As we get ready to leave I gaze up at the mountain range, we walk slowly towards the foot of the range and begin the treacherous climb to the place we saw the explosion...

Simon's POV:

My fingers were killing me! Sharp stones dug into my fingers like a spinning needle. I'm not daring to look down, we're at a neer vertical climb and it's terrifying! We were nearly at the cave entrance and it was about time. Duncan was climbing below me with Lewis leading and Hannah above me. Lewis called out, pulling himself up, "I'm there!" I sighed in relief, thank fuck for that! Hannah climbed into the cave entrance and I grabbed onto the edge after. I lifted my body up with my strong dwarven arms and flopped onto the rough rock, panting heavily. Duncan climbed up and joined us. "What are you doing here!?" A voice shouted out.

(Well uh... hey guys! Wow it's been a while, I said I would update more often but that must have been a lie. I've been dealing with a lot recently and have been in a pretty bad place and that mixed with writer's block kinda stopped me from updating. Also sorry thst this is such a short chapter... but I hoped you enjoyed anyway. I don't know if I should continue with this, let me know if you want me to. But for now I'm sorry if I don't update but I'll try my best. So yeah, hello again and sorry for the wait.-Matthew)
