I felt his wristband once more, making sure that it was true. After I realized that it was really him, I immediately retracted my hands back to myself.
"W-Why are you here?" I asked in confusion.
"What do you mean why?" I heard him chuckle. "Don't tell me that you forgot what I told you yesterday?"
I tried to remember what he told me yesterday.
"I'll act as your eyes from now on. I'll be your guide, your navigator and your protector. I'll be everything"
I widened my blind eyes as I realized why he was here.
"It seems like you already understood. So, may I come in?"
I shook my head to take me back to reality. "...yes."
Mr. Wristband muttered a 'thank you' as he went inside. I stood there for a few seconds thinking, then I realized what I had done.
"Wait!" I shouted after him. "Why do you need to go inside my house?"
Judging by how the sounds of his footseps stopped, he must have stopped in his tracks.
"I mean, you can't see right? Who would cook for you? Take care of you? You are alone in this house after all." He reasoned.
I scoffed. "I'm pretty sure I can manage. It's been like this since I turned 10."
I started to walk to him to drag him outside but in the process, I tripped over our couch which made me fall face first into the comfy cushion of our sofa.
I heard him laugh. "Yeah right. You can manage it all by yourself."
