"So would you mind telling me where are we going?" Sohyun asked, as I lead her through the bus stop.
"Hmm..." I tapped my chin, "Since I was planning to go to somewhere else but it snowed today, I think it's better to go to a ski resort."
Her eyes lit up for a second. "A ski resort? Isn't that where you do snowboarding and skiing and stuff?"
"That's what I heard." So that makes the two of us that haven't experienced nor had gone to a ski resort.
I've been wanting to do it since I was a child. Skiing, that is.
Well, I was homechooled and couldn't get a proper chance to go out and explore. So while I had time, why not just go?
"The bus is here." I announced as the bus we decided to take has arrived, gaining Sohyun's attention. It seens like she had been blanking out for the past seconds. I grabbed her hand and lead her and sat at the back part of the bus.
We sat silently as the bus proceeded to go. After a few minutes, I decided to tell her something.
"This is gonna be a pretty long ride so you can sleep if you like. I'll protect you."
She just nodded and put back her attention to the window gazing at the outside world, as if she could see the beauty of nature and feeling the cool breeze of winter as the bus raced through the snowy road.
The whole ride was silent. And unconciously, fatigue consumed me and I found myself sleeping, head falling gently on Sohyun's shoulders.
