Sohyun♣

The lumpy snow felt cold against my face as I fell face first when we were halfway down the slope, dragging Seonho with me. We both crashed simultaneously and continued to roll down a few seconds later, leaving our ski poles behind.

We groaned in agony for the impact we got was quite bizzare. I was sure it was a hard impact, but maybe because of the soft and lumpy texture of the snow made it less painful. I immediately sat up the felt for the shards of snow on my coat and patted it away.

After a painful moment of silence, Seonho started to crack up and laugh his heart out, startling me.

"W-What...?" I said as I questioned his sanity. Was the impact hard enough on his head?

"Don't mind me," he laughed, "It's just that this was so fun. Let's try it again!"

"What do you mean fun? We literally crashed a second later into skiing! I never knew skiing was this hard." I exclaimed as I sighed exhaustedly.

"That's because you haven't tried it yet." Seonho answered, "It doesn't mean that it's lame when you haven't even tried it. Explore, Sohyun, there far more better things you'll discover as you go by."

I scoffed, "That is what I'm exactly doing. Exploring. I'm not the type of person to just let one measly disability hinder my happiness and ability to try new things."

A painful silence filled the cold air.

"Uh? Seonho?"

"O-Oh, y-yeah?" He stuttered. "Yeah."

"Are you okay? You sound like as if my words struck you right in the nerve or something."

"...What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine."

I felt him stand up and he held my hand and gently pull me up to. I immediately shivered as I felt the cold breeze struck us again.

"Come on, let's try it again!"

"Seonho wait!" I shouted, which made him stop abruptly.

"What?"

"You forgot the ski poles we left behind."

"Oh wait." He let go of my hand and he must've went up to fetch the ski poles that we left behind. After a few more silence, i felt him grab my hand once again and he handed me my ski poles.

"Now," he breathed. "Let us have all the fun that we can have!"

But under that joyful remark, I can't help but feel a tinge of sadness mixed deep within those words.
