"Here, take my hand," I offered. But instead of taking it, she just walked past by me and was walking as if she can see everthing, dodging the marble counter and knowing where the dining room was.
It was as if she wasn't blind.
I shrugged and just brought the plate full of deliciously cooked pancakes and the maple syrup on my other hand.
"How come you're walking as if you're not blind at all?" I placed the plate and the maple syrup on the table.
"I was born blind. I practically stayed in this house my whole life. I memorized the whole layout of this house. Also, since I walk barefoot, it makes me able to sense where I am going or what am I doing." She explained.
I gaped my mouth. Wow, so she basically memorized her house? Well she's has been staying here since birth, it's a given that she would know her house's layout.
"You're one fine girl, Ms. Sohyun."
"Stop calling me that. Just drop the formalities since were basically friends now. Just call me Sohyun. We're the same age after all." She spoke.
A small smile formed on my little lips.
"Well then, let's eat breakfast, Sohyun."
