Chapter 7- Waking up.

Elise Redfox slowly opened both of her eyes and stared at the ceiling of her bedroom with clear annoyance in her eyes as--

'Wait wait wait wait hold on hold up!!' Exclaimed a wide eyed Elise in her head as she continuously blinked her eyes while keeping them wide. 'That ugly mossy stone roof is definitely not my bedroom's ceiling!'

Oh.

Right.

'Oh yes freaking right!'

Quickly getting up, Elise groaned when she felt lightheaded. While rubbing at her temple in clear discomfort, she scrunched her nose in confusion when she noticed that there was something heavy wrapped tightly around both of her wrists. Turning her attention to her mentioned hands, she blinked in shock at the sight of the dirty dark cuffs that wrapped around not only her wrists but her legs as well.

What the hell?

Where am I?

What happened?

Then it all flooded in her head like a river.

The mission.....The weird fancy house.... Quintas....The dark guild.... everything.

She groaned in annoyance while shaking her head. Dammit, why in the name of Mavis were they locked in a cell now?! And how did that Quintas turn out to be one of the bad guys?!

'That piece of crap!!' Elise growled as her eyes glowed red in anger. 'I'm going to kill him!!'

Looking around the cell, Elise finally noticed that she was actually not alone, as Storm was on her right and Simon and Nova, both, were on her left, all of them peacefully sleeping as if there was nothing wrong in their world right now, and they weren't locked up in a dirty cell.

So Elise took it upon herself to remind them that no, there was something absolutely wrong in their world and they needed to be freaking awake to know that.

And so, Elise took a deep, very deep, long breath.

And yelled at the top of her lungs-

"WAKE UP PEOPLE!"

Nobody moved or even budged at the ear ripping yell. Elise snorted at this.

Well time to be annoying-

"COME ON!! UP UP!! COME ON FAIRIES GET UP!! GET UP!!"

"Oh dear Mavis" chimed in the voice of a very tired sounding Nova who slowly got up while annoyingly rubbing at her ears. "Elise."

"Nova." Innocently said Elise to her with the widest of smiles while a completely done with life Nova stared at her.

"Why are you shouting woman?!" Elise snorted at the blonde girl's reaction.

"Look around you and then you'll know." Stated Elise to her as Nova confusingly stared at her at first, though after she looked around her the girl's eyes widened in shock while she muttered a soft "oh no" under her breath while she inspected the cuffs that were wrapped around her joints.

"Where's Nashi?" Asked Nova while she tucked at the end of the cuffs in annoyance. "She's not here with us."

"She really isn't." Stated Elise worriedly. "I'm sure she's fine though it's Nashi we're talking about here."

"Right," said Nova with her brows furrowed and her eyes clearly looking worried. "Maybe you're right, but Mavis, this is bad." Nova groaned while staring up at the ugly ceiling above her. The girl then shifted her gaze to her right, where Simon was peacefully sleeping, as she couldn't help but feel irritated at the peaceful look he had on his face as he slept.

"Simon, wake up!!" Nova yelled at him, as no answer came from the boy. She sighed at that fact while throwing Elise a "please-do-something" look.

"Simon get up." Exclaimed out Elise while shaking him a little, as the scarlet haired boy turned to his side in response, completely ignoring both of the girls, and continued his nap, Nova glaring at him at this.

Fine.

This calls for drastic measures.

"Oh is that Astride I see over there?" Asked Nova along with a very believable gasp, as after that question and certain name tumbled out of her lips, sirens started going off in Simon's head as his eyes snapped open.

"Where?!" Simon yelled in panic while getting up fast looking around, eyes full with fear. Nova rolled her eyes at this along with a smile.

"Oops false alarm." Nova said sweetly smiling at him while Elise chuckled at the side. "Sorry that was the only way I could think of to wake you up."

"You almost gave me a heart attack." Said Simon followed by a groan while lying back down. "I assume we were captured and put in a cell?" He asked while staring blankly up at the ceiling.

"Seems so." Said Nova along with a sigh as Simon nodded at her with narrowed eyes.

"We're all here right?"

"Nashi's not."

Anger flashed in Simon's eyes at this as he cursed under his breath.

"What are we gonna do?" Asked the boy while getting up, as he shared a look with his teammates who all nervously looked at each other.

That was the main problem. They didn't know what to do. They were never put in such a situation like this before so they felt extremely lost and afraid at the moment, especially at the fact that they were missing a person.

"First thing we have to do, is to wake Storm up." Nova said while pointing at the still unconscious Storm. "It's your turn Simon."

"We're taking turns in this?" Asked Simon curiously as he flinched at the sight of Elise suddenly grinning like a maniac.

The Elise who got excited at the idea of waking her dark haired friend up by scaring the living daylights out of him.

"Allow me to take care of that."  Said the dark haired girl along with the same grin while turning over to Storm, as both Simon and Nova decided that it was best they did not interfere in this.
