Fairy Tail: Next Generation

Chapter 32- Expectations vs reality.

He was walking down the streets of Magnolia, heading towards the Fairy Tail guild. Suddenly, the sound of a feminine scream was heard coming from the guild. His eyes widened as he quickly started running his way towards the guild. Opening the large doors, his eyes widened in horror at the sight in front of him.

Bodies were lying everywhere. Not any bodies, dead bodies. The corpses of his family and friends. He trembled in fear and anger as he looked around the guild. Tears formed in his eyes when he saw his mother and father lying on the ground in a pool of their own blood. The sound of choking was suddenly heard coming from in front of him. Quickly turning around, his eyes widened in anger at the sight that was currently being held in front of him.

Nashi, one of the people that he cared for dearly, was currently being choked by a cloaked figure. Activating Meteor, he quickly took the young pink haired girl in his arms and hugged her tightly, while she furiously coughed. His eyes then darted towards the cloaked figure in front of him.

"WHO ARE YOU??!" He yelled in anger as he growled at the man in front of him. A sinister grin appeared on the cloaked figures face, as his entire face, save for his mouth, was completely obscured because of the black hood that was draped on his head.

"Soon." Said the man to him as he looked at him with his sinister glowing blue eyes.

He could not help but find the deep and sinister voice familiar.

"Whaa--!?" Yelled Simon as he abruptly got up from his bed. Sweat trickled down his face and neck as he was panting hard.

'Tha....That dream....again...'

Quickly getting out of bed, he ran his way towards his bathroom. Opening the cold water, he started to repeatedly splash his face with the cold and fresh water. His breath was still uneven and hard, even after washing his face, Simon was still feeling hot.

This was the second time that he had dreamed this disturbing dream. Simon wondered why he dreamed of such a nightmare once again.

'Is....is it really a dream?' He asked himself in his mind as he looked at his reflection in the bathroom mirror.

"Is it....?" He asked himself slowly once again. A sigh escaped his lips as he laughed at his thoughts. "Of course it is." He said as he shook his head. Running his hand through his scarlet locks, Simon quickly got out of the bathroom door, and once again got inside his room. Looking over at his nightstand, he had founded that currently, it was 3:00 am. He furrowed his eyebrows at this.

"Waking up at the time of the devils..." He said as he started to change his clothes. "Such good luck." He said sarcastically to himself as he zipped his old black jersey on him, grabbed his keys, and made his way out of his apartment.

Getting some fresh air after a bad dream is always the best thing to do. Right?

Zeus groaned once he saw the face of his so called 'kidnapper'.

"Damien?! Seriouslly man?!"

"Orders are orders." Said the white haired man to Zeus as he shrugged at him. Zeus sighed at this.

"This was Azura's doing, wasn't it?"

"What do you think?" Asked Damien to him with a raised eyebrow. Zeus groaned in annoyance as he struggled in his seat.

"Fine, but can you at least untie me?" Asked Zeus to him as he was referring to the many thick ropes that surrounded his body.

"As I already said, orders are orders. So shut up already will you?" Said Damien annoyingly at him as he rubbed his temples. Zeus was going to say something else to the white haired man in front of him, but he was interrupted by the sound of his former master.
