Chapter 28- Forgiveness?

Devon sighed as he heard Mason's report to him from the Queen.

"Did she really say that?" Asked Devon to Mason as he glared at the short brown haired boy who repeatedly nodded at him.

"Yes sir!" Devon sighed once again at this.

"Ugh, I can't believe she's just believing them..." Mumbled Devon quietly as he walked over to the Fairy Tail mages.

"So?" Asked Blake to Devon.

"The Queen says that she believes you and that an immediate investigation shall be held over this matter." All of them smiled at this.

"Well, that's great!" Yelled Nashi happily as she crossed her arms behind her neck. Devon nodded at her and started to walk away with his team.

"Mavis, I can't wait to get home!" Yelled Nova as she threw her hands up in the air.

"Me too." Groaned out Elise.

"Oh yeah! One last thing!" Yelled Devon to them as he turned around to face them. "The Queen has already contacted your master." Everyone eyes widened at this as they were all frozen in their spots.

"So don't worry about not finding a train home! He said he'll take you guys back himself!" Yelled Devon before walking away from Nashi and the others.

Everyone stood in their places, paralyzed at what Devon just said to them. While Zeus tried to hide himself with the hood of his cloak.

"G--Gramps...." Said Nashi as her eyes widened in fear.

"....is coming....." Said Storm as he started to bite his nails in horror.

".....here...." Finished Simon for them as his hazel eyes were showing panic. The three just stood their next to each other, completely paralyzed just like everyone else present.

Until a flash of lightning appeared right behind the three.

That flash of lightning stood right behind Nashi, and grabbed both of Storm and Simon's shoulders.

The three's eyes widened in horror at this.

"Yes. Master is coming here." Said Laxus darkly behind the three as they all shrieked and shivered in fear. Elise, Gale, Blake and Nova all attempted to run away.

Unfortunately, when they did, their faces were planted in a barrier.

"Gah! Freed!" Yelled Blake at Freed who was at a top of a tree, reading a book.

"Sorry, I have my orders." Said Freed as he shrugged and flipped a page of his book. Nova sighed at this. She then slowly turned around, but was met by a wall.

Or so she thought.

Looking up, she found out that she actually didn't hit a wall.

Oh how much she wished it was a wall.

"Where do you think you're going?" Asked Laxus to his daughter while a dark and deadly aura imitated from him. Nova shrieked at this.

"Look dad I can--!" Nova was interrupted by Laxus blasting lightning on everyone present. Save for Zeus who was trying his best to hide from his father. Everyone screamed in pain while Nova crossed her arms over her chest as she stood proudly in front of her father.

"You can't blast me. We have the same magic." Said Nova as she looked at Laxus with a superior look in her eyes. Laxus though smirked at this.

"Rin! Sylvia!" Nova's eyes widened at this.

"You--!" Before she even got the chance to talk, water was thrown on her head which made her get electrocuted just like the rest. As she screamed in pain, Rin and Sylvia, who were sitting on a tree branch with Luke and Sky, mouthed a small 'sorry' to her as they looked at her in pain.
