Chapter 22- The seducing plan (feat Nashi vs door)

"Ugh! Show yourself already you bastard!" Yelled Zeus as he randomly sent lightning bolts in every direction in the dark hallway him and his sister were currently in. When he heard a laugh come out from behind him, he immediately shot one in its direction, his form growling in anger when that only made his enemy laugh even more at him.

"Mavis just show yourself already...." Said Nova as she gritted her teeth angrily.

"Well if I did then that wouldn't be fun now will it?~" Said William gleefully from somewhere.

"Tsk. Nova can't you smell him out or something. You are a dragon slayer just like dad." Said Zeus to Nova as he continued to randomly shoot lightning, Nova groaning in frustration at his proposal.

"That's the problem!! I can't smell him out!!" Yelled Nova feeling like choking the invisible man at this point. "It's like he's not even with us!!"

"But Nashi caught his sent before, right?"

"She did." Said Nova as she shot lightning out of her hand, her brother raising an eyebrow st her.

"Then why can't you smell him out now?" Asked Zeus, both his brows raising when his sister punched the wall beside her.

"That's the thing!!" Exclaimed Nova, Zeus noting to himself that his sister needed some serious anger management classes. "I don't know why?!"

"You know, I may have an answer to your question." Said William as he was still unseen by the two siblings, both the said siblings groaning in annoyance at the sound of his voice.

"Ugh, what is it?" Asked Nova.

"I'll tell you if you stop shooting that lightning."

"Hell no." Zeus said immediately.

"Zeus..." Nova said, looking at her brother pleadingly. Zeus groaned at this.

"...Fine." He muttered out quietly like a childish kid, the lightning showers around them stopping with the snap of her fingers. "I still don't trust him."

"Great!" Yelled William as he appeared in front of them while twirling his black mustache. "You see, my magic allows me to be unseen by the eyes of the people around me."

Zeus gave the loudest gasp at the villains revelation.

"Really? We didn't notice." Zeus said sarcastically as Nova elbowed him in the gut which made him groan in pain and glare at his younger sibling.

"But, it doesn't only allow me to be unseen by their eyes," Continued William in saying, ignoring Zeus's extra remarks. "It also allows me to be undetected by their other senses as well."

"Wait." Nova said cutting William off. "You're telling me that we can't smell you, nor touch you, nor can we even hear you??"

"Exactly. You catch on fast little girl." William said giving Nova a sly smirk, which Nova only regarded with disgust.

"Then how was Nashi able to smell you? And how were we able to hear you talking?" Asked Zeus to William.

William smirked at him.

"I can control it. I can make you hear me whenever I want, and smell me whenever I want."

"Wait, so you wanted Nashi to smell you out that time?" Asked Nova confusingly, surprise filling her eyes when William flinched at her question.

"Y--yes!! Exactly!!" He said screeching a little. He then cleared his voice and straightened as slight sweat visibly forming on his forehead. "That's exactly it." He responded calmly this time.
