Chapter 53- Flashback to a promise.

The white haired boy ran.

Zeus instantly ran when the information of Rosemary's comeback to Magnolia were revealed to him by Max, back at the guild.

It was like a huge splash of energy suddenly hit him at that moment, boosting up his adreline and pushing his tired legs and sore body to go and sprint towards the train station, where the scarlet haired girl he had missed dearly would surely be at.

"She called me and told me that she was coming back." He remembered Max proudly say to him while standing high and mighty in front of the entire guild, some of the members rolling their eyes at the blond haired man.

Almost tripping on his own two feet, he growled in pain when he felt the muscle of his left leg tighten a bit, the muscle there clearly tired from all the running he had been doing these past few days but he didn't care as he continued to move forward with all his might.

"Though she wanted me to keep it a surprise from you guys." Muttered Max to himself while scratching the back of his head in thought. "Either way she told me to meet her at the train station at 5 pm."

Looking down at his wrist where his silver watch was, Zeus almost giggled in joy at the fact that it was currently 4:55, and he was literally in front of the train station now.

Breathing in a sigh of relief, Zeus panted slightly from the small running he had just did and closed his eyes as his mind drifted off into a memory he dearly treasured.

A memory he dearly treasured with his scarlet haired best friend...

The 12 year old white haired Zeus sighed as he seated himself on the guild's rooftop, his slightly long and still growing legs dangling on the edge of the giant building. He smiled when he saw his 10 year old sister scolding Nashi for almost burning her hair while her and Storm were having a heated fight over who gets to eat the last donut.

Snorting when she almost electrocuted the pink haired girl, he almost fell off the edge of the rooftop at the sound of a small giggle from behind him.

"What's so amusing down there?" Asked Rosemary Fernandez, Zeus's longtime best friend since birth, the girl who would always stick by his side no matter what.

Zeus's smiled at the scarlet haired girl and shook his head at her in response to her question. "Nothing."

Looking at him with eyes that screamed the word "what?", Zeus laughed loudly at her as he ushered for the girl to take a seat beside him. The said girl complied with a roll of her eyes, as her slightly smaller than his form scurried over to sit and dangle her legs just like him beside him on the plain old edge.

"Sitting on the rooftop with the afternoon sun shining on our heads." Sarcastically said Rosemary as she steadied herself with the assistance of her hands. "How fascinating."

Zeus rolled his eyes at the girl at that. "Would you seriously rather sit down their at the guild with uncle Natsu blabbering about his amazing life or sit up here with me?"

Humming at his question in thought with a finger on her chin, she later asked him. "Both sound torturous. Is there a third choice?"

Scrunching his nose at her in fake annoyance, Zeus lunged his arms around the girl small frame and began to torture her sides by tickling them muttering the words "yeah right" and "sure you do" over and over again as the girl laughed her heart out with small tears brimming the end of her eyes.
