Chapter 37- Morning routine.

"Yeesh, that was harsh."

"Shut it f*ckhead."

"Hey, no swearing." Said Taemin as he smiled at the purple haired girl in front of him who rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Just shut the hell up and help me in getting this kid in that vessels house."

"He's not a kid, he's the same age as you."

"Just help me." Said the purple haired girl while slowly lifting Simon up from the ground. Taemin scrunched his nose at this.

"Hell no, he beat the shit out of me."

"Well he's your--"

"I don't give a shit who he is to me, he freaking broke my jaw. You take care of him." Said Taemin as he walked away from his purple haired companion who rolled her eyes once again at him. Taking a look at Simon's face, she grumbled as she lifted him up and started dragging him towards the Dragneel's house, mumbling a few curse words at how heavy Simon was to her.

"Zeus!! I need your help over here please!" Yelled Mirajane from the back of the bar to her older son, who was in a middle of having a conversation with Freed when he heard his mother calling him.

"Coming!" Yelled Zeus over at her, excusing himself from the grown up green haired man. Freed only waved his hand in a way that said "go" to the white haired boy who smiled at him sheepishly before quickly moving towards his mother.

Laxus watched his son from the second floor of the guild, as his white haired son helped his mother in carrying a barrel full of booze over to the kitchen for her.

A smile soon placed itself on Laxus's features when he saw Zeus giving his mother a side hug as he laughed with her.

For the first time in years, Laxus felt true happiness.

He was relieved that his son had finally come back after 7 long years of being away from them. On the outside, it looked like Laxus didn't care less about his son's comeback. But it was the opposite.

He couldn't be more happy that Zeus had finally come back to him.

"Laxus." Said Freed as he walked over to his former team leader.

"Freed." Said Laxus giving the green haired man a simple nod as a greeting. Freed stood next to Laxus on the second floor, while crossing his arms on the wooden railing in front of him.

"I was just talking with Zeus about the upcoming Grand magic games you know." Freed said as he eyed everyone down in the guild hall. Laxus narrowed his eyes at that.

"Hmmm. You were?"

"Yes I was."

"Did you also tell him about the fact that--"

"Were not participating this year?" Said Freed with a chuckle. "Don't worry, he guessed it himself." Laxus nodded at that, crossing his arms over his chest in thought while raising his head up to look at the guild's roof.

"It's been years since the last time we participated in these games."

"I know." Said Laxus. Freed furrowed his eyebrows at his master.

"You know, why not just....participate this year?" Asked Freed. Laxus raised an eyebrow at that.

"No way. These games are not what they used to be. It's only a playground for rookie guilds now."

"Yeah, but it would be fun." Said Freed with a shrug as he straightened his back. "It would be a fun experience for the children to go through. You know, so that they can test their capabilities." Laxus gave Freed's words some thought as he still kept his head high.
