People Don't 'Unpack' At 1AM

Emily: josh, can you stop making so much noise?
Josh: what noise?
Emily: just cause mom and dad are out doesn't mean you should unpack at one in the morning! I'm not a night owl like you and I want to go back to sleep!
Emily: We have till tomorrow to surprise mom and dad.
Josh: Emily, we chose later today because I'm at a friends house tonight.
Emily: right...
Emily: in that case... Someone is moving/taking our stuff. Sounds like they're digging in the fridge... What do I do?
Josh: call the police, duh em!
Emily: what if they hear me?
Josh: fine, I'll call... What's our address again?
Emily: JOSH!
Josh: what? We moved in two days ago! I don't have it memorized yet!
Emily: no it's understandable; it's just that I DONT KNOW IT EITHER.
Josh: shoot... You're more important than objects, hide under the bed and don't draw attention to yourself!
Emily: but what if mom and dad get mad? They unpacked the valuable stuff first for some reason....
Josh: I don't care! I'm you're older brother, so listen to me and HIDE.
Emily: josh... He's mumbling something!
Josh: what? can you hear him?
Emily: I'm by the kitchen doorway, just out of sight; one sec.
Josh: EMILY! Hide! Don't get closer!
Emily: josh! He's not here for valuables!!! He's here for me!
Josh: what?
Emily: He's on the phone now, complaining about having to grab the female sacrifice... Like, what the ?! This is so horror movie material!
Emily: wait, josh; he knew it'd be a good time; is this some prank of yours?>:(?!
Emily: it would explain the cliche reason and my timing to overhear it>:(
Josh: no! It's not I swear! Get out now!!!!
Emily: JOSH! YOU HAVE TO HELP ME! The doors are all locked and broken so I can't unlock them!!!
Josh: hide! Call the police! Try the bathroom, it'll lock so he won't be able to get in!
Emily: josh! I meant ALL the doors... Even the ones without locks, Except my bedroom's, are somehow refusing to open or budge! And my lock has been melted so I can't lock it... He knew where I was! He has me trapped between the hallways, kitchen, and my room!
Josh: I've woken Eric's mom and gotten her to get out the note mom gave her with our new address; calling police now!
Emily: I'm hiding under the bed, but I hear him getting closer....
Josh: the police will be there in fifteen minutes!!!!
Emily: I'm turning off my phone; it's dark, the light will tell him I'm here...
Josh: EMILY!!!!!
