Chapter 15: Percy

Percy was terrified. when the cyclopes swat annabeth aside like a fly, Percy seemed to gain extra strenth. He defeated the cyclopes in less than 20 seconds, which could be a record. He ran to annaeth's side and prayed to every single god and godess that Percy knew about, even the ones he hated, that she was alive. he found a pulse, but her head was starting to form a very big lump from hitting the metal. Percy had an idea and searched through Annabeth's pack for some water. sure enough, he found a huge canteen of it in her backpack. Also, he found the backpack was humoungus inside, even if it was smaller on the outside. Percy shrugged it off. He decided he would only use a little but of water, so he made mist and threw the golden drachmaa inside.

'O iris, goddes of the rainbow, show me.. Hazel Levesque, on the Argo II.' A vauge image appered of the remaining seven in the dining room '-cant find them anywhere-' Piper was saying. 'Searched the whole ship-' She was cut off by gaia, who's swirling face appered in the lounge 'I have captured those two little puny demigods and will use them at the reawakining! i will rise, and nothing you do can stop me!' she chuckled sending the remaining crew into shock. Jason was the first to recover. 'Oh, no you won't dirt face, not under our watch!' Jason slashed through the dirt with his sword, and Gaia's face dissapered.

'So that's where they are' said Leo, in a kind o fway that he thought no-one else knew it.

'Well, duh Valdez.' Replied Frank impationtly

'Boys, calm down.' interupts Piper, her voice oozing with charmspeak.

Frank and Leo glared at each other, but didn't say a word.

'um, Leo, have you set the course for Athens yet?' asks Jason.

'Yeah, I did ages ago.'

They had an awkward silence until Piper interupted 'Where do you think they are?'

'Underground, probably. It'd be easier for Gaia that way.' said Hazel.

'That's probably true.' was Piper's reply.

Then Piper turned around and saw Percy.

Piper gasped. 'Percy! Are you okay?'

'Yeah.. I'm fine.. Listen, Gaia's captured us underground, and she wants to use us for the sacrifice. i'll meet you in Athens. understood?'

'That's-that's fine Percy, but what happened to Annabeth?'

'She well.. A cyclopes came in and swatted annabeth and now she has a head injury.'

it was Hazel's turn to gasp. 'Do you have any Ambrosia or Necter?'

'Yeah, but I've used as much as I-' Percy was cut off by footsteps leading to the dark room he was in. Percy gaped. "Gotta go now!' He swiped through the mist, and the connection dissolved.

This time, it was another emposa who came in armed. The moment she stepped in through the door, she threw a (long) piece of rope which immiedietly attached to Percy and the stirring Annabeth and threw them against the pole again and tied them up. 'Hmm... not so quick, are we Persus? Oh dear, dear, what has happened to poor little Annabeth?'

Percy gritted his teeth. 'Nothing you need to know!'

The emposa hissed. 'Nothing I need to know? Well, let's see if this helps, shall we?'

She brandished her whip at Percy's shoulder and it immideatly started to bleed.

'Fine! I will! Well.. When me and Annabeth were fighting the cyclopes it sort of swatted her away, and she hit her head on the wall! is that enough? Do I need to tell you exactly how high the bruise on her head is by millimeter?'

The emposa 'used' her whip twice on Percy this time. Left arm, right arm. Pain was now growing to his whole body, not just his shoulder and arms. 'That was for being 'sassy' on me!
