Chapter 18: Jason

Jason couldn't hold himself back any longer. He needed to iris-message Reyna, Nico, and Coach Hedge. No, not because of Reyna. Because of Nico. Jason wasn't gay, and he never will be, but since he had found out Nico's secret, he seemed to have formed a brotherly affection. He knew that if piper found out she would think he was iris-messaging them because of Reyna and that Reyna loved him and Jason loved Reyna, but he just didn't. No, he had to do this in private. He walked down the hall to his cabin, and stepped inside. Everything in his cabin was alway's kept neat and tidy, unlike his life. He fished a drachma out of his bedside drawer and made some mist with his water bottle. He threw the drachma into the mist. 'O iris, goddes of the rainbow, accept my offering and show me nico Di angleo.

The image that appered in the shimmering mist was something that would be inked into Jason's memory forever, whether he liked it or not. There were Reyna and Nico, together, kissing each other like it was the end of the world. Which, technically, it was. And there was one thing that suprised him most; Nico looked happy. Probably for the first time in his life, seeing how depressesd the guy always looked. Jason didn't say a thing until Nico noticed him.

Nico took a glimpse of the world around him and saw Jason. He went very red and said 'J-Jason it's not what you think-we were just-'

'Calm down, Nico. It's fine with me. Just wondering; What about Percy/'

'I've gotten over him.'

'Oh, um okay then. How far are you from Camp Half-Blood?'

'Not too far. We should reach it in a couple of days time.'

'okay then..'

The boy's had an awkward scilence interrupted by Reyna. 'How far are you from your final destination?'

'About a day away, according to leo.'

Reyna rolled her eyes when Jason said the word 'Leo'. She had obviously not forgaven him yet for blowing up New Rome.

'Ok. Bye.'

Her hand swiped through the mist, and Jason just saw a glimpse of Reyna crackin a smile towards Nico. They were unstoppable. Jason sighed. He walked back to the dining room, expecting a snack, but what he found was a whole lot worse than some innocent Shapes
