Chapter 7: Piper

A/N hey guys, im going to start trying to do faster updates. prob is, I have three stories to manage. I'm posting this chapter because I got 4, and decided to carry on. ENJOY!!!! and also if youre gonna read this READ THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS!!!! I AM SERIOUS! YOU CANT JUST READ ANYTHNG WTHOUT READING THE OTHER OFFICIAL BOOKS!!

                                                      Pipers POV

AFTER PERCY HAD RETURNED, she was, to be honest, more worried about Leo than Hazel. She knew she shouldn't be, and Hazel was one of her good friends, but Leo was her best friend. Almost like the annoying little brother she never had. Everyone was in sickbay, leaning over either Hazel or Leo. Most were around Hazel, but Piper and Jason were by Leo's side.Leo was awake, but barely. Eventually they were both asleep. After Hazel had woke once, and so had Leo, the five remaing demigods decided to back above. Just as they had reached the stairs, the sleepy voice of Gaia said

'It is hopeless. I will win and take over the earth. Surrender to me. It may not be too late. Give me two of your brethen and you will be left in peace.'  

'Never!' all five of us shouted at the same time, and continued upstairs. The five remaining demigods decided to be regular teenagers and pass around a bucket of ice-cream. they met up in the mess hall and started to pass it around. When Frank's turn came, he said 'I'd rather not. I'm lactose intolerent'

Piper found that rather funny. 'So your lactose-introlerent, but your not ADHD or dyslexic?' She giggled. 'Yup.' he replied. Once we'd finished the ice-cream container, Jason asked me, 'Pipes, can I show you something? It's a suprise'  

'Okay then' Piper said supisciously  

We walked out on deck and Jason lead me to a big circular shape covered in cloth.

What was it?

'Well, Its your birthday, Piper! Open it!'

She gasped. Her birthday? Of course! How could she forget?

'Well? Open it! Leo actually made it but... ' he asked impationtly, a big grin on his face

So she opened it. Under the cloth was a circular 5 metre long trampilone with a net around it, bronze poles holding up the net, and mortal steel springs. Piper instantly loved it.

'That's so cool! Thank you so much!' she squeled. 

Then, suddenly the rest of the seven jumped out at her and Piper jumped very high.

'Happy 16th birthday!' the seven said together. (not including Hazel or Leo) 

They came out with presents and cards. Piper opened Jason's card first. It was beutifull. 

'And now, the present.' Jason said

Jason bent down on one knee. What? We were to young to get married! 'Piper McLean, I promise to be yours forever and always. This is a promise ring. Will you say the same for me?'

'Yes! I will!' He smiled the widest and most perfect smile I had ever seen. So, natrually, the moment had to be inturupted by Dirt Face. Gaia's swirling face appered. 'There is no need to promise that, Jason.'she chided. ' You'll all be dead by the time you reach Athens, just like my visions have shown I will wake, and nothing can stop me! Especially not you puny demigods.'

'Go away!' Jason shouted.

'Very well. But do not forget what I said. Sacrificies... such wonderfull sacrificies...'  Once Gaia had gone, Jason slid the ring onto her. It fit her perfectly. It was a silver band with a dove and a lightning bolt on it. The symbols of thier godly parents. 'Thank you.' Piper whispered. 'It's beautiful.' 'You're very very welcome' he whispered back. They kissed, and Piper wouldn't have cared if Gaia had won the war and wiped out all life. Piper wouldn't have cared.
