Chapter 14: Reyna

Reyna was astonished. Who were these people? And why did one of the girls look like a godess? the girls stated to shoot silver arrows at the monsters and they were dispersing very quickly. Reyna tried to help, but she couldn't really do much. She sliced at any monsters that came near nico and herself. Very soon, the army was gone, and the girls stepped forward.

'Who are you?'

'As Thalia said, we are the hunters of Artemis. Oh, and I'm Artemis.'

Reyna's mouth hanged open. the young girl that appered o be Artemis looked about 13 years old, with olive eyes and dark hair. Artemis smiled. 'Are you suprised by my looks?' 

'Well, yes actually.'

She nodded. 'Not unusual. I like to stay in the same stage as my hunters.'

'So who are your hunters? Demigods? Mortals?'

'Anyone who worships me and dosn't mind being immortal.'

'Oh.'

'Yes, and there's the fact that they have to swear off boys for all eternity.'

nico was starting to stir. 'Monsters where are th- Wait, Artemis?'

Artemis furrowed her eyebrows. 'Nico?' She asked. 'Nico Di Angelo?'

Nico swallowed. 'Yes.'

'NICO!?' the girl that was called Thalia shouted.

'Oh, yeah. it's me.'

'Wow. I remember when you were such a cute little kid that loved mythomagic.'

Yeah, well.' Nico said bitterly. 'People change.'

'Oh, yes um, hi. What's your name?' Thalia asked me.

'Uh, Reyna.'

'Thalia.' Thalia said, 'Thalia Grace.'

'Wait, what? Are you Jason's sister?'

'Um yeah. Why?'

'Because-because I know him. in fact, I've known him for years.'

'Okay, then..'

'And how do you know Nico?'

'Uh... Its kind of a long story.. Let's just ay that me, Percy, and Grover found him at his boarding school and saved his life.'

'Okay.. So, Artemis, how do you know Nico?'

'His sister, Bianca, was a hunter.'

'What do you mean, 'was'? I thought Hunters lived forever.'

'That is, unless they die in battle.' 

'Ah.'

The whole time they'd been on the topic of Bianca, Nico had been silent with a exellent poker face, though Reyna could see great sadness and grief buried deep in his eyes.

'Reyna, could I talk to you for a moment?' Artemis asked. 

'Sure.' She wwalked over to artemis. 'What is it?'

'I was wondering if you would like to join the hunt.'

Reyna was astounded, once again. 'Me? um, I'm terribly sorry, but.. no. i can't.'

Artemis nodded her head. 'Ah. I thought so.'

'Well, we better go now. Good luck with your travels.'

Reyna bowed. 'Thank you, lady.'

'You are welcome.' was the last thing she said as Artemis and the Hunters started to walk out. 

'Bye.' Thalia-the-sister-of-Jason said

'Bye.' Reyna replied
