A/N So sorry for not updating in fooorrreeeeevvvveeeerrrrr. Anyway, here ya go.
Annabeth was starting to think Khione would run out of underground rooms if she didn't stop spinning through new ones every two seconds.
As soon as the bright flash in her brain had dispersed she'd opened her eyes to find a luxury vintage living room with hardwood floors and brown wallpapers, and as Percy and herself stumbled into consciousness Khione shook her head, grabbed Annabeth and Percy by the wrists and flashed out of existence in that room
The next room was not so pleasant. Annabeth flashed her eyes open to find a sort of metal jail. People were bound by sharp chains holding down their wrists and ankles, a person chained every three metres or so. The people themselves were in horrible condition, stock thin and a few bloody. In each corner were four Earthborn holding whips, looking way too fierce and angry for an earthborn.
The three if them stood there motionless. Annabeth resisted the great temptation to scream.
Annabeth looked at Percy and reached out to his hand, not for support, but to remind herself that no matter how little, there was always some sort of good in the world. His eyes were as wide as saucers and was breathing heavily, but still he managed to focus on reality enough to clutch Annabeth's
'Demigods,' Percy said, horrified. 'They're demigods, aren't they?'
'Yes. The spies. Since you brats are gonna die anyway, I might as well tell you. Our demigod army is increasing, become filled with spies pretending to be loyal. These are the few that have been caught.'
‘That's...that's absolutely horrible.' Annabeth said, terrified.
‛Yes, well, they're traitors.' Khione said grimly. ‛Let's go. Your room is waiting.'
‛Our room? Will it have, like, spring fountains and a library with ten million books?'
‛Shut up!' Khione scowled, and the three of them spinned out of existence.
They landed in a plain white apartment. Everything was white; the carpet, the walls the furniture, everything.
‛That's a lot of white.' Percy whistled.
'So, this is where you'll be staying for the next few days until you get sacrificed. The goddess has decided to keep you in good condition until a day before the sacrifice. There is enough food to last you two for 11 days, which is all you need. Unfortunately there is only one bed so either one of you sleeps on the floor or you sleep together.' Khione said.
And she vanished.
