Along the boardwalk we did stroll
A looking for a friendly troll
Then up one did spring
Brandishing a sling
And grinning through crusty teeth
Laughed loudly at our flight
Lumbering towards us hand outstretched
He heaves a mournful sigh
"No one trusts me they all think I come to kill, " he said
So as he spoke and we saw the tear in his eye
Round we turned only to be greeted by
"Ah ! Fresh meat tonight me hearties
Human kinds gullible all.. He He Ha
They see only my crocodile eye "
Then calling our pet dragon we ventured forth
Or was that fifth,
Across the road to great our foe
Where upon he said with a gleam in his eye
"I've such fine gifts for all, come to me
I've such fine cloths for all, come to me He he he he he"
Bouncing forth we did go then standing on his big toe
We greeted our for
And passed the night safe with the troll.........
So there my children is the fine story of how we
Tricked the humans into our trap
HA HA HA HA HA HA HE HE HE HE HE HE
