Why do I see the many things this world has for me to view?

As if the darkness of the night were in full view

Why do you not speak to me of the beauty that you see?

Is it that you think I'm blind?

Do you feel I'm not quite the same?

Well who do you think is blind?

Not me my friend I have eyes, no not the same as yours

They see what's in my world with true light

Ha Ha you say, they see black only black

Yes black my friend they see

But my friend they also see things that your sight can't see

They see love and friendship

Who to trust, they also see my wife

My children too . . .

And also they see, also they see . . .

But what's the point

You're deaf to me before I begin

You say all my kind need pampering

And help in everything,

Well I suppose that's true for some

But not for me

I'm the independent kind

Perhaps you'll ask me to explain

Why I wrote this ditty

Well my friend as you can see

So Can I !!!!
