The total feelings quite sublime
If you only give it time
To steal into your mind
To dwell within mankind
Those feelings are quite right to be
Inside you, so see
Yes see what you can do
If only you had me and only I had you
Sitting here all full of dread
Reading by your bed child
You dwell only in my mind child
Without rhyme or reason child
Well ! Will you stay or will you go
Well only you can tell me so
For those feelings are sublime child
Even only in my mind child
If we only had the time child
If we only had the time
To sit here in the sun
Reading only rhyme
If we could only find the time
If we could only stand the rhyme
