Crimson

Everyone continues to stand there awkwardly. That is until Josh speaks up from getting a piggy back ride from Cole.

"It's in the cupboard over the sink," his face aloof with mischief. He reaches over grabs the canned whip cream and sprays it onto Cole's hair.

The little girl giggles and everyone else stands there- shell shocked. I continue to stand there as the child hops onto the counter and grabs the Hershey's bar.

No longer wanting to stand there I walk to find a large backyard with a huge forest. Very few people are stand around talking.

The air peaceful until a bone chilling scream arises from a direction. The moment it happens again I know where it is. Dropping my chocolate- I shift into my wolf.

The bolting blonde blob next to me keeps up. Running faster I make it directly to the noise. A girl lies on the ground- withering in pain. Blood flows from her side. The blonde wolf just gets here. My wolf tells him to stay and help her.

Tracing scent that is all to familiar- Rouge. I follow the scent until I see the fowl creature. Small children run around playing.

Before the creature has a chance to leap I tackle him.

My wolf takes over completely. All I can see is a tumble of fur. My wolf lets me back when I wasn't expecting it. The rouge lays on the ground- dead.

A group of warriors gathers in front of me. Their alpha- my mate walks through the middle of them.

Walking over he goes to nuzzle my side. Turning away I walk back towards the house. Shifting back into human I am once again covered in the comfort of the large sweater.

When a wolf becomes skilled enough at shifting they can save their clothes. I just so happen to be able to control it.

I when I walk into the house I'm welcomed with a making out Cole and Josh. Not talking sense the night of the mate choosing my voice gruff and raspy when I talk to the boys. "Get a room."

Josh pushes Cole of the couch they were laying on. Cole lays on the ground in pain while Josh tries to help him up while he's bright red.

"Alpha what did you do with the rouge?" Cole speaks up. Not having to look behind me I sense the presence of their Alpha behind me.

"Burned him."

"You burned him alive?" Cole looks afraid of his answer.

"No my mate did." His voice sounded bored.

"Atta girl ,Red!" Josh cheers.

A small smile grows on my face at Josh's enthusiasm. Josh starts to hide behind Cole in fear for a reason unknown to me. Looking over my shoulder I notice their alpha glaring at Josh.

Turning my glare to him I speak up...
