Second Afterlife Chapter 10

--------Karin's POV--------

"NO!!!" I screamed. Toshiro was cut along his back. Now he is lying in a pool of blood on my lap. I just kept shaking hi as hard as I could. "TOSHIRO!! WAKE UP!! PLEASE, WAKE UP!!" While I was holding onto Toshiro, Byakuya was finally getting rid of the Menos. When he was done, he came over to where we were.

He put a hand on my shoulder. He saw that I wasn't able to move him, so he put Toshiro over his shoulder and put me on his back. Byakuya knew that if he was going to be able to save Toshiro, he had to use Flash Step to get to Urahara's.

 --------Byakuya's POV--------

When I was done with the hollow, I went down to where Karin was sitting with the now unconscious Captain Hitsugaya. I saw her screaming for him to wake up. I don't know what exactly is going on with them, but I know if they were going to tell everyone what was going on, I would know by now.

I put my hand on her shoulder. She just looked up at me and I saw that there were lots of tears rolling down her face. I knew that there was only one way to save Captain Hitsugaya. I picked him up and put him on my shoulder. Then I saw how Karin wasn't going to be able to stand up on her own, so I put her on my back. I have never done this with anyone else except for Rukia, and I haven't done it in a while.

Without any more thoughts, I used Flash Step and sped off to Kisuke's.

--------Karin's POV--------

By the time we reached Urahara's, Toshiro was looking very pale. We were very lucky that Orihime was at his shop right now, otherwise, we might not be able to heal him. Her eyes instantly widened. Byakuya put Toshiro on the ground and Orihime rushed over to him. "What happened to Toshiro, Karin?" She asked me I still wasn't able to speak, so Byakuya told her what happened. He told her everything except for the fact that I was the one who caused it. I looked at Byakuya and said with my eyes, "Thank you" He just nodded.

It took Orihime about five hours to completely heal him. "It will probably take him about another couple of hours to wake up. He was pretty beat up." Urahara, knowing that I needed a few minutes to stay with Toshiro by myself, took everyone out of the room. I held onto his very limp hand.

"I am so sorry, Toshiro. I should have listened to you. I should have just went back into the house. I knew that you could handle it with Byakuya there to help you. I will always listen to you in situations like this from now on." I kissed his cheek then went into the other room to tell everyone else that they could come a keep an eye on him with me. At that moment, Rangiku came in and screamed for her captain. When she found the room that Toshiro was lying in, she burst into tears. I knew that the tears were more for me than for herself. When she spotted me, she came over and, yet again, squeezed me so hard that I felt like my life was leaving my body. I felt so dizzy and my vision started to fade. By the time everyone got Rangiku off of me I was unconscious from lack of breath.

--------Rangiku's POV--------

I just feel so bad for Karin. Her boyfriend, who is my captain, is unconscious on the floor. To make her feel batter, I gave her a big hug. I felt her struggling, but everyone does that. I really wish that my breasts weren't so big. When I finally let go of her, she just dropped to the ground. Oh no. I almost suffocated Karin! I am so lucky that Captain isn't wake. If he was, he would scream at me, then kill me on the spot. I am so sorry, Karin. After that, I ran because I didn't want to know what Karin was going to say to me when she wakes up. I should probably stay away from her and Captain for the rest of the day, so when I come back, they won't remember this incident.
