Chapter 9

Ethan's P.O.V.

'Suit yourself Williams,I'm a guy who can swim in his or without an underwear.''I wink at her and grab my car keys,Avery laughs at my replica.
'I'm gonna make some hot chocolate and bring it with us.'
'Good idea,we're not gonna freeze when we get out of water.'I nod and go in kitchen with her.
'Here's a thermos.'I hand her a metal bottle kinda thing and she pours all the hot chocolate there,we leave the kitchen after that and she locks the door.
'Do you remember how I stole your first kiss?'I ask her when we get in the car,I can see her blushing.
'I remember everything Ethan,everything.'She clarifies with a smile on her face and I can't help but smile wide too.
I still can't believe she remembered everything,it's all I wanted and I honestly feel so happy for her.
I imagine how torturing her life could possibly be if she had this terrible amnesia for the rest of her life,and I do know that I wouldn't be able to take it and see her suffer.
'Wait did you grab your swimsuit?'I ask her.
'Why would I,you said we were going to swim naked.'She raises her brows and I do the same.
'I didn't say you could swim naked.'I exclaim.
'But that doesn't mean I can't.'Avery winks playfully.
'What if someone sees you?'
'Ethan please.First of all nobody ever goes there except our crazy asses and second,it's dark outside,I don't think you saw that.'Avery playfully winks at me.
'Okay..'I whisper with a grin on my face and continue driving.
We were already close to the woods,I opened the window of the car,the air has changed a lot here,when you are in the city you can't breathe normally but when you are getting close to the nature,the air gets so much better.
'We're here.'I say and park the car in front of a huge tree.
'Can you remember details of us being here?'I asked her when we got out of the car.
'Every single detail!'She exclaims and wraps her arms around me.
God I love her so fucking much.
'Let's go explore.'She says grabbing my arm and pulling me with her.
'The river is right there.'She yells and we run towards a big rock to see the river.
'Took off your clothes.'I tell her.
She starts taking off her shirt and trousers as I do the same,we keep our underwear though.
'Lets jump together.'She says smiling and I grab her hand in mine.
'Okay,one..two..three!'I yell and we both jump into a cold river.
'God this is cold!'She yells as she takes her head out of water.
'Shit!Fuck!Shit!'Avery keeps swearing,I am out of breath as I'm laughing loudly at her reaction.
'Ave oh my god!Come here.'I grab her waist and hug her.
'You're so warm!'She exclaims with her eyes wide open and I can't help but laugh again at her,she's so cute.
'I don't remember us having an underwater sex.'She says in my chest and I burst out of laughter.
'Avery tell me you just didn't suggest me fucking you in this cold ass river.'
'Maybe I did,maybe I didn't,we'll never know.'She winks.
'Please stop doing that or you're gonna get out of this water with your legs shaking and that's not gonna be the cold.'
'Oh my gosh,that was cheesy as fuck.'She laughs loudly.
'Sorry.'I whisper.
'No no,we can do it in the bedroom.'
'Yeah better.'
'Your hair has gotten so long E.'She says looking at me.
'Do you want me to cut it?'
'No,I like it this way.'Avery smiles.
I take her face in my hands and kiss her wet blueish lips that are shaking,feeling her in my arms is the best feeling ever.
'I don't get to tell you that often but I really love you.'I say giggling.
'Yeah you never told me that,how come.'I roll my eyes at Avery,kissing her once again.
'Did you bring the towel?'I ask her.
'Um..no..We're gonna freeze!I'm so stupid.'She says worried.
'Stop,I have it in my truck.'I assure her.
'Let's go up.'She suggests and I nod,going out of the cold river.
I open the truck of my car and hand her a towel,she dries herself off and then gives it back to me so I can dry too,and after we put our clothes on,I pour the hot chocolate in cups and hand her.
'Bringing hot chocolate was a good idea.'I say and she smiles.
'So are you going to meet Violet tomorrow?'I carefully ask her.
'I told you I was.'Avery replies with a cold tone.
'Sorry,I..'I started but she cut me off.
'I've heard everything Ethan.'She says and looks away from me.'
I sit closer to her and take her hand in mine.
'I know,I just have terrible fears about you being in pain.'I confess and she looks straight in my eyes.
'So do I E,I don't want seeing you in pain.'
'I'm not in pain Ave..'I tell her.'
'But I can see it on your face,you're worried about me and you're in pain because of your dad,I can see that you don't want to lose him and I also can see every single little piece of pain on your face.'She knows me,she really does know me.
'I don't want to think about losing my dad.'I tell her and close my eyes.
'I know baby..'She whispers and kisses my forehead.
I put my head on her lap and close my eyes as she plays with my hair.
'Sometimes..I just don't understand why it has to be you always in so much pain..I've seen people struggle but you Ethan..god is being cruel towards you and I'm so sorry about that..I promise everything's gonna get better,just stay with me.'She whispers kissing my lips and I feel my cheeks getting wet.
