Chapter 13

Ethan's P.O.V

Fuck!What the fuck did I just do?!
I'm gonna kill Bella,I freaking made it clear not to call me but yet again she doesn't even think about it.

She called to tell me that the famous Rhett Donovan is in the city and he wants to meet,so she couldn't freaking meet him alone.

The first and most important reason why I had to agree to do this job is because she,well technically Leonard threatened me and used Avery for that.
Never in a million years I will let something happen to Ave,especially because of me!

Next,when I quit the job I lost all my departments they had given me,for example my tattoo parlors and sooner or later my saved up money will be gone and I'll be left with nothing.

I sighed heavily,trying to concentrate on the road.I was already getting closer to the part of the city where I used to spend most of my time in the past. I rolled up the windows of my car,I didn't want anyone to see me,although everyone knew my car.

I parked my car in front of Leonard's building.Despite the fact that he was in prison,he still managed to take care of everything and Bella was a big part of it.Getting out of my car I sweared under my breath and entered the building.

I could see some people staring at me,choosing to ignore them I made my way towards the elevator and pressed button seven,Bella told me she'd be there.

I knew that most of Leonard's people were in prison,but he still managed to hire new people and make them his marionettes.I laughed at my own thought.I'm his marionette as well,I was and still am.

I entered a huge room with glass door and saw Bella at the work desk.She smiled at me,but I kept my serious face.I'm not in the mood for this.

'Ethan..'

'Let's skip the how are you part and tell me why the hell did you call me.'I spat under my breath.

'First of all,I told you I was going to call so that shouldn't be a surprise to you.And second,Mr.Donovan is here,we have to meet him and discuss where we're meeting,when we're meeting and how much he's paying.'She stood up from her seat.

'And you couldn't do that without me?!'I snapped at her.

'I could,but it's kinda better to have you with me.Despite the fact that you left Ethan Dolan,you sill have fame here.'Bella said and I sighed.

'When are we meeting him?'

'He should be here in half an hour.'

'Let's pretend you're not here before he comes'I shook my head and sat in the sofa,she just chuckled at my comment.

I took out my phone and saw that I had seven missed calls from Avery.Fuck!She's going to be so fucking mad at me.And this time I'm screwed because there's no way she will forgive me all of this,if she finds out.

'Want one?'Bella says handing me a cigarette,actually weed.I shook my head and look back in my phone.

'Oh please,c'mon Eth.'I hear her say and look up at her,she's smirking and when I take the weed from her hands,her smirk just grows.

'You need to relax a little bit,I know you have anger issues but it's nothing to worry about.'

'First of all,I don't have anger issues for fuck's sake(sure you don't),stop assuming things about me like you know me and second I'm not worried about anything.'I said rolling my eyes.

'Oh my gosh,chill.'She rolls her eyes.

If she thinks I'm even slightly nervous about the meeting then she's even more stupid than I thought.But sure I'm worried about the fact that I left Avery without saying a word to her and she will be so damn angry when I see her.This is what I'm worried about.

I don't know what to tell her,I can't tell her the truth because she's gonna lose her shit.If she knows what I'm doing,she'll never talk to me again because I know how much she hates what I used to do.

My thoughts disappear when I hear a knock on the door,they're probably here.

'Come in.'I hear Bella say.

'Miss Bella,they're here.'A young girl with blonde hair and red lip gloss says.

'Tell them to come in Lily and bring us coffee please.'

'Sure.'She says nodding and leaves the room.

Soon two men with black suits enter the room,I stand up from my seat to greet the man behind them.I'm guessing the man in front of me is Rhett.

'Good day my friends,you may know but I'm Rhett Donovan.'He gives us a rather captivating but a fake smile.

'Hello,I'm Bella and this is Ethan Dolan,nice to meet you.'Bella says with a fake smile as well,I must say she's a really good actor.

'Please,take a seat.'I say after I shake hands with him and he mutters a thank you before sitting down.

'It's a nice weather you have here in London,I didn't expect it to be like this.'He starts a conversation with weather.

Of course,normal and smart people don't start conversations about the job right away,they have to talk about little things at first.This is the way of having a conversation in our business.

'I'm guessing you were expecting it to be all foggy and rainy.'I smile slightly.

'Yes,yes,indeed..I did.'

'Well,how long do you plan on staying here Mr.Donovan?'Bella asks.

'We'll see how our relationship's gonna go and I'll decide so.'

'Good,let's talk about it then,shall we?'I say and the girl Lily opens the door,bringing us coffee.

'Thank you Lily.'Bella says as she leaves.

'So,I've heard you have some really nice quality of the things we need.'Says Rhett and takes a sip of his coffee and then adds'Mm black coffee,my favorite.'

'We do yes,we can also show you the samples and give you number of the exact amount.'

'Good,you see,I don't know that many places in London to trust,so you will have to tell me where should we meet and we can also talk about time.'He says.

'I've looked for a place and already know where we should meet,about the time..I thought tomorrow night would be okay.'Says Bella.

'Let me check my dear.'He says and tells one of his man to check his schedule.After a few seconds the man nods and Rhett smiles.

'The time is perfect,I'm gonna need the address as well.'He says and Bella hands him a paper,I guess that's the address.

After that Bella shows him some samples and gives him a little bag of white powder,to be exact-cocaine.

'It was nice meeting you my dear friends,I guess we'll meet tomorrow.'He says standing up.

'It was nice meeting you as well Mr.Donovan.'I say and once again shake hands with him.

'Thank you Mr.Dolan.'Then he says goodbye and leaves.

'Wooh,that was easier than I expected.'Says Bella after Rhett leaves.

'Yeah and you didn't have to call me.'I snap.

'Oh come on Ethan Dolan,I will call you whenever I need you.This is part of our deal,you do what Leonard says and your beloved ones stay alive.'

'Be careful next time Bella.'I warn her and leave the building.

I drive to Avery's place as fast as I can,I want to see her and apologize to her and before I come in the house I also have to think about the reason why I left.
