Imagine: spending the afternoon with your best friend Simon at home in your living room, neither of you were speaking to one another, it wasn't because you were mad at each other nor was it because it was awkward and the both of you didn't have anything to say. It was more to do with you just admiring him in his natural form. You get out your phone and open Snapchat, "Simon" you say happily, Simon simply looks at you and flashes you a smile before he turns back and puts his attention back on his phone like it was ten seconds ago. You lean in and kiss Simon on the cheek which took him by surprise and really confused him; "Y/N why did you do that? You know I'm in a relationship with Bethany" "I know you're, but come on Simon who are you kidding? We both know that you don't love her the way you're meant to love someone in a relationship. You're only doing this because she is a close family friend and it would make both families happy." You point out to him "Oh yeah! And how would you know what love is? You have never loved someone in your life or been in a serious relationship Y/N!" Simon snaps "I have actually, been in love and it pains me to see them with someone who is not the right person for them." "Yet you do nothing about it! You just spend your time with me and not go after the person you've 'supposed' to love" Simon points out to me "But I have just done something about it, maybe now that person will see that I love them." You start to grin in hope that Simon will take the hint that you have just given him.
