Chapter 11

I woke up in Kakashi's warm arms and I heard his light breathing behind my head. I closed my eyes to just enjoyed the moment then I heard the shower water turn off and figured Tenzo must be up. I rolled over in Kakashi's arms and ended up flush against his body and I smiled sliding on of my legs over his.

"Morning Sayu" He murmured but instead of responding I just buried my face deeper in his firm chest and hugged around his waist. I felt a chuckle rumble through his chest before I heard it come from his lips

"I know you just want to cuddle but you did promise that boy that you would play with him today" He said stroking my back

"What are you two going to do while I'm with Gaara?" I asked

"Maybe some training?" He half asked and I nodded

"Five more minutes" I muffled into his shirt

"Anything for you" he said as he kissed the top of my head. I let out a long breath then I remembered something

"Hey Kakashi I have a question" I muffled into his chest

"Hmm?" He hummed

"Have you ever heard of the Sage of Six paths having a daughter named Takara?" I asked

"Hmm.. no I just heard of him having two sons.. Nothing about a daughter.. Why?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders

"Just curious.. I heard someone talking about it so when I get back to the Village I am going to look into it" I said and he hummed in agreement. After my five minutes were up I got up and got ready to go play with Gaara, I didn't put on my gray armor so instead I settled on the only other option I had which was just black sweats and a black undershirt. When I was ready we all left and made our way to the play area. When it came into view there was a slightly smiling Gaara sitting on the swings. As soon as he saw me he ran up and I kneeled down to give him a hug before standing up and putting him on my hip.

"Hey Gaara how'd you sleep?" I asked bouncing him slightly

"Better than I have my whole life" he said in an adorable happy voice

"I'm so glad.. Do you want to meet my friends?" I asked and he immediately buried his face in my neck

"WIll they think I'm a monster too?" he whispered sadly

"Oh of course not sweetie, they are nice people" I said turning to face Kakashi and Tenzo

"So Gaara the one with the spikey hair and silly mask is Kakashi we have been best friends since I was your age-" I was cut off when Gaara gave me a sad look

"What's wrong" I asked

"Do you think we will still be friends after you leave? I think you will be my only friend.." he said sadly and I frowned

"Of course we can still be friends... whenever I am on a mission near Suna I will come visit okay?" I said and he nodded once with a little smile

"Okay so the one with the longer hair is Tenzo" I said pointing to him with my unoccupied hand

"Nice to meet you Gaara" Tenzo said while Kakashi put his hand up in a wave and gave a closed eye smile. Gaara bounced excitedly in my arms and leaned into my ear to whisper

"Will they be my friends too? Can they stay and play with us?" He whispered and I smiled looking at Kakashi and Tenzo

"Yeah they will be you friends.. And Gaara why don't you ask them" I said and he got a little fidgety but turned his head to face them

"Will you come play with us?" He asked in an adorable shy voice that I don't think anyone would be able to refuse and they both looked a little taken aback
