Time skip three years
The next two years were busy.. I trained with my squad a lot and I even stayed behind sometimes to train with Minato alone.. About a year into our training I asked him if he could teach me Flying Raijin and he told me he would if I proved I could actually do the jutsu.. So I did the hand signs he told me to and I focused on teleporting to his kunai and although I didn't make it all the way to the kunai I moved towards it. I didn't tell Kakashi about my flying Raijin jutsu because I wanted to surprise him with it when I had actually mastered it. I became good friends with Rin and I sometimes would go stay at her house when she was having a hard time with Obito's death. Kakashi moved in with me and we started to save up to get an apartment with two bed room so we could have some more privacy but we haven't saved up enough yet.. Especially when we had to pay for new weapons and clothes because we were both growing so much.
Sayuri's Pov:
"Three Kunai knives and one paper bomb.. That's all we have left" Kakashi said as we all sat around a fire in a cave
"And not only that but the Hidden Stones elite have us surrounded outside" Rin added a with a worried tone
"Yeah they are probably going to attack at daybreak" I muttered as I let out a long breath
"But guys there is no need to worry even if we are short on ninja tools we still have my two fists" Gai chipped in putting up his too fists
"Guy I appreciate your confidence but that's one of the problems that led us here.. We need to figure out a sound plan and stick with it" I said before Kakashi could say anything mean to Gai.
" I think we should all rest and regain our strength and then go out a few hours before the sun comes up and try to sneak past them.. I can keep watch" I continued
"I can keep watch.. You are right some of this is because of me" Gai said firmly as he stood up and moved to the mouth of the cave
"Alright" Kakashi said as he laid down on his side and laid one hand out with his palm up. I scooched over and placed my hand in his hand and he gave my hand a squeeze before I felt him start to fall asleep. I decided to keep watch as well.. Not that I didn't trust Gai.. I just knew he may make a decision without telling us. I layed back and pretend to be asleep but as soon as I heard someone shift in the cave I quietly sat up and pulled my hand from Kakashi's without waking him. I silently walked to the mouth of the cave and stood behind Gai who looked like he was about to hop out
"What are you planning?" I asked and he jumped in the air with a quiet yelp before turning to look at me.
"I can not have you guys get injured for my foolishness.. I will go and make time for you to get out.. Please make sure everyone gets away.. Give me twenty minutes and then wake Kakashi and Rin then regroup with the others" He said looking at me with determination.. I knew I couldn't stop him so I nodded while thinking up a plan
